    • The invention relates to a method and a device for purifying waste water that is polluted with organic and/or inorganic matter. The invention is characterized in that the waste water is evaporated and condensed within a primary system (13) and a secondary medium (14), preferably untreated water, within a self-contained secondary system (14) that contains a compressor (66) and that is separate from the primary system (13) by evaporating the waste water by heating it on the secondary medium (14) previously compressed in the compressor (66) and further heated up. The steam is guided through a cyclone (58) and the secondary medium expanded in the secondary system (14) is evaporated by condensing the waste water steam. The total waste water fed to the primary system (13) is subdivided into a first partial flow (23) and an at least commensurate second partial flow (24). The first partial flow (23) is brought to a temperature close to the boiling point in a first heat exchanger (28) at the outlet of the primary system through which hot distilled water (31) flows and the second partial flow is brought to a temperature close to the boiling point in a second heat exchanger (38) through which the removed hot clarification (36) flows. The ratio referred to as concentration factor (CF) of supplied total water per time unit to clarification quantity per time unit is selected to range between greater 1 and approximately 20. The inventive method is suited for the thermal reprocessing of waste water and produces germ-free distilled water of high quality and a greater or lesser concentration of the water to be evaporated while saving energy.

    • There is described a method for the treatment and processing of solutions of an organic fluid, water and one or more compounds of alkaline earth metals, alkali metals and metal ions, comprising the following steps: a) conducting a stream (5) consisting of organic fluid, water and one or more compounds of alkaline earth metals, alkali metals and metals ions to a salt reduction and crystallization unit (6), b) evaporating and optionally partially condensing the stream (5) and providing thereby a steam (9, 10) of evaporated water and organic solvent and a steam (8) of organic fluid and the compounds of alkaline earth metals, alkali metals and/or metal ions, c) conducting the steam (8) consisting substantially of organic fluid and the compounds of alkaline earth metals, alkali metals and/or metals ions to a salt reduction means (24), d) nucleating crystals of the compounds of alkaline earth metals, alkali metals and/or metal ions by means of depressurization and temperature increase, e) removing the portion of the precipitated crystals and/or particles from the organic fluid. The method is particularly well suited for processing of solution consisting of mono-, di, tri, or polyethyleneglycol or mixtures thereof. There is also described a means for carrying out the method.
