摘要： Systems and methods for aligning High Density Array ("HDA") pin plates, substrates and reservoirs with respect to each other. The system includes a flexure (38) having a flexible print head (30), elongated members flexibly connected off-axis to the system and a pin plate support assembly (36) detachably connected to the flexure allowing the pin plate assembly to adapt its position during a printing operation. The pin plate has alignment ball receptacles on its surface and the reservoir (34) has alignment balls (40) on its surface facing the pin plate. The pin plate (32) is positioned with respect to the reservoir (34) such that each of the alignment balls (40) is located within one of the alignment ball receptacles to achieve the alignment. Once the pin plate is aligned, it is secured to a supporting assembly such as a vacuum bridge, and inking and printing operations are performed.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing flat sheets of a glass-based material and to a device associated with the process. The process comprises passing a stream of the material (10) through a reservoir (24) comprising a hollow central portion defined and delimited by the porous walls (12) of the reservoir, in which the material accumulates and through which it flows, in an almost steady state and with a limited residence time, any contact between the material and the walls being prevented, the hollow central part of the reservoir having a substantially rectangular, horizontal cross-section whose width decreases continuously from a maximum width D to a minimum width D', in the direction of flow of the material, over at least a portion of the flow path of the material. The drawn glass has a viscosity less than about 10 7 poise at an outlet of the reservoir (24).
