    • PURPOSE:To realize the proper formation of a closing flap by a method wherein all the layers except a bag front wall or a bag rear wall bent outwards are cut off by a distance corresponding to the prearranged dimension of the closing flap from the opening end edge at the position to the middle in the longitudinal direction of a bag parallel to the opening end edge with a rotary knife. CONSTITUTION:Among a bag front wall 11, a gusset front wall 12, a gusset rear wall 13 and a bag rear wall 14, all of which are separated from one another by cutting off both side edges, only the bag rear wall 14 is bent downwards so as to be fed to the following procedure under the condition that the bag rear wall 14 is separated from the other three layers or the walls 11, 12 and 13. Next, the remaining three layers are cut off by a distance (a) corresponding to the prearranged dimension of a closing flap 18 from an opening end edge 16 at the position to the middle in the longitudinal direction of a bag 1 parallel to the opening end edge 16 with a rotary knife 4. Next, onto the inner surface of the closing flap 18, pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied and, after that, peelable paper piece, which is cut to size, is pasted.

    • A dispensing bag for particulate matter is closed at one end by a two layer closure formed by an openable outer closure, and an inner dispersion panel with apertures of suitable size therethrough. Opening the outer closure exposes the apertures in the dispersion panel and permits particulate matter to be dispensed therethrough. The bags may be conveniently mass produced from sheet material, such as flexible plastic, in the form of a continuous strip or flattened tube, by appropriate cutting, folding, and joining operations. The invention provides an inexpensive container from which particulate matter may be conveniently dispensed in controlled fashion, and which resists accidental opening and spillage.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture the packaging sheet capable of enclosing the object ranging from the material rolled up and small in width to a large-sized solid body by a method wherein the one side edge of a tubular sheet is folded and the other side edge thereof is cut open and first and second seal sides are formed at first and second opening parts. CONSTITUTION:The one side edge 13 of a tubular sheet 12 is folded inwardly to form an inner fold edge 13a and first and second fold edges 14a and 14b and the other side edge 15 thereof is cut open to form first and second edges 15a and 15b. A first opening part 12a and a second opening part 12b extending from the fold edges 14a and 14b to the edges 15a and 15b are sealed at first sides 16a-16c and second sides 17a-17b. The seal at the sides 16a-16b is divided into two parts at an intersection point 16d of the seal and the inner fold edge 13a and the seal at the sides 17a-17c is divided into two parts at an intersection point 17d of the seal and the inner fold edge 13a. A superfluous part 18a above the seal at the sides 16a-16c and a superfluous part 18b below the seal at the sides 17a-17c are cut off for removal. In this way an opening larger than the opening of the tubular sheet can be formed and an automatic manufacture of packaging sheet can be made easy.
