摘要： PURPOSE:To remove the fat and oil having a small size in diameter from waste water by a method wherein the raw water stored in a flotation separation tank is given an ultrasonic vibration and fat and oil in the raw water are adsorbed by the fine air bubbles formed therein by the ultrasonic vibration so as to be floated for separation. CONSTITUTION:In waste water treating method, a waste water 2 stored in a flotation separation tank 1 is supplied with the ultrasonic waves generated by an ultrasonic generator 6 from an ultrasonic terminal part 5 so as to be given an ultrasonic vibration. By the flocculating action resulting from this ultrasonic vibration, the fat and oil having a relatively small size in diameter dissolved in the waste water 2 are collected into the masses of a larger diameter, which are then floated for separation and the fine air bubbles formed by the foaming action resulting from the ultrasonic vibration adsorb the fat and oil in the waste water 2 to accelerate the flotation separation. The fat and oil raised to the water surface are discharged from the tank 1 by a discharge device 7.
