摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently separate small stones from beans by positively providing an ascending flow to the water on an upstream side part in a separation plate to float the beans having lower sp.gr. and to deposit small stones having higher sp.gr. on the upstream bottom part of the separation plate. CONSTITUTION:In the device for separating and removing small stones mixed in the beans such as soybeans and red beans, the separation plates 10 are uprightly provided on the inner bottom part of a separation tank 1, and intersected orthogonally with the water flow. Ascending flow generating plates 21 are furnished on the upstream side part of the separation plate 10 in opposition to and in parallel with the separation plates 10, and the ascending flow generating plates 21 are reciprocated in the water flowing direction. Consequently, the beans whose sp.grs. are reduced by absorbing water are floated by the ascending flow and overflow the separation plate 10. The small stones having higher sp.gr. is deposited on the upstream bottom part of the separation plate 10 and collected. Small stones are surely separated from beans in this way.
