Ein automatischer Ausgleich dieser sogenannten Teilungsfehler erfolgt dadurch, daß den einzelnen Tachoim pulsen eigene Führungsgrößen, zu deren Anspeicherung ein Speicher vorgesehen ist, zugeordnet werden, und daß diese Führungsgrößen in Abhängigkeit von der jeweils ermittelten Regeldifferenz in einem Hilfsregler ständig korrigiert und ans telle der alten Werte im Speicher abgelegt werden. Eine solche Vorregelung, die die relativen Fehler zwischen den benachbarten Tachoimpulsen erfaßt, ermöglicht eine exakte Einstellung der gewünschten Drehzahl, wie sie beispielsweise in Videorecordern zum Erhalt eines guten Bildes nötig ist.

The subject apparatus is associated with a vehicle having at least one surface engaging idler wheel (12). A resolver (14) produces a rotation angle rate signal having a value responsive to the angular rotation rate of the idler wheel (12). A resolver-to-digital converter (20) receives the rotation rate angle signal and produces a rotation rate pulse signal. A clock (42) substantially continuously produces clock pulse signals having a predetermined frequency. A counter (26) receives the rotation rate pulse signal and the clock pulse signal and controllably produces a time signal corresponding to the number of clock pulses received over the duration of a predetermined portion of the rotation rate pulse signal. A logic device controllably receives the time signal and produces a vehicle velocity signal.

A sensor (13, 14) supplies a digital signal (15, 16) that reaches one H level (H) and one L level (L) during each complete revolution. A level change detector (19, 20, 30) generates a signal every time the level changes (40, 41, 42). This signal causes an output signal (22) to be generated as a measurement of the speed of rotation. The speed of rotation is determined every time the level changes (40, 41, 42) from the duration (TR) of the preceding complete revolution of the revolving part. This process allows at least two values for the speed of rotation to be obtained during each complete revolution of the revolving part.

摘要： A circuit for generating a speed value corresponding to a rotational frequency of a rotating shaft. A digital tachometer circuit has a tachometer circuit and a copy/hold circuit. The tachometer circuit maintains an intermediate speed value which is incremented by a gain constant as the rotational frequency increases and is decremented as the rotational frequency decreases. The copy/hold circuit samples the intermediate speed value at selected intervals, thus generating the speed value. The speed value is displayed to a user and represents the vehicle's speed.

At least one rectangular pulse with flanks of a first polarity change and flanks of a second polarity change is generated for each rotation of the element, and the flanks of the first polarity change of the rectangular pulses occuring during a predetermined time. The process is characterised in that the flanks of the second polarity change of the rectangular pulses occuring during the predetermined time are also counted and the time elapsed between the first and last counted flanks is determined. The speed of rotation is determined from the ratio of the number of flanks of the first polarity change and of the number of flanks of the second polarity change to the determined time.
