摘要： A method for assembling towers using prestressed concrete segments has holes incorporated through the segments to take tensioning cables. The holes are spaced around the circumference of each segment and align with similar holes in the adjacent segments. To ease the feeding of the tensioning cable the top of each hole has a tapering profile, with the widest aperture at the entry to the hole. The taper is between 10 and 150 deg. and the widest aperture is less than the wall thickness of the segments. The holes are formed by performs fitted into the moulds for the segments.

It supplies an improved water flow into a rain gutter at points where the water runoff from a roof is heavier than other parts of the roof (such as between dormers) while preventing debris (such as leaves and sticks) from entering the gutter and enabling the water to flow more easily into a downspout where water can be carried away.

The reinforcing apparatus comprises vertical threaded reinforcing bar rods, or rods with threaded ends, arranged around the pole and embedded in the pole foundation. A method is also provided for reinforcing a tower monopole.

摘要： The current invention discloses moisture resistant foundation pier block forms constructed from corrugated plastic. Means for holding sections of reinforcing bar can be included and at least one preferred embodiment of the invention includes means for securing the form in its desired location at a construction site. The forms of the current invention are light weight and can be easily assembled at a construction site or at a remote location. Sections of reinforcing bar can be inserted in at least one preferred embodiment of the invention during assembly and the forms can then be folded into a flat configuration for storage until needed. The forms disclosed in the current invention can be reused, but they do not attract insects and therefore do not have to be removed from the pier blocks after the concrete has dried.
