摘要： La presente invencion se refiere a un rastrillo dental, cuya combinacion de partes que lo forman permiten sustituir el movimiento horizontal de los cepillos dentales tradicionales por un movimiento vertical anatomico logrando una completa y eficaz limpieza de las caras interna y externa de dientes y muelas, así como masaje de encías, lengua, paladar y cara interna de las mejillas, y consiste de dos cabezas que tienen una curvatura concava y otra convexa respectivamente, en las que se encuentran las cerdas, y dichas cabezas son intercambiables y se colocan o se incorporan a un mango mediante un simple mecanismo de presion. Una modalidad de la presente invencion consiste en dos rastrillos, uno de cabeza concava y otro de cabeza convexa, hechos de una sola pieza, es decir, que no se intercambian dichas cabezas sobre un mango unico.

El cepillo de dientes tiene una cabeza delgada y estrecha para un acceso máximo a la cavidad oral, y un arreglo de cerdas novedoso el cual es altamente efectivo para la remocion de la placa de los dientes con el cepillo manual. En una modalidad, la cabeza de cepillo está ahusada a una parte estrecha y entonces opcionalmente se extiende hacia afuera de nuevo. En otra modalidad la cabeza está formada con un perfil ondulado. En aun otras modalidades, la cabeza de cepillo puede proporcionarse con una punta en ángulos o arqueada hacia arriba. La cabeza también puede tener una parte inferior ahulada para efectuar el masaje de la encía, una estimulador de encía y una cabeza con áreas de utilizacion visiblemente diferentes.

摘要： There is disclosed a toothbrush 21 with curved bristles 41, 43, 45, 47 formed of natural or manmade fibers of thermoplastic or thermosetting material such as acetate fibers, rayon fibers, acrylic fibers, nylon fibers, polyamide resins, polyimide resins, phenolic resins, or urea resins; the bristles are set in two rows, at least one of the rows being offset from the center-line of the brush 21 and with a curvature which is concave viewed from the center-line of the brush; some embdiments have bristles with substantially uniform curvature and other embodiments have bristles wherein the curvature in non-uniform and the greatest curvature is approximately one-third of the length from the distal extremity of the bristle. Preferably the bristle distal extremities are at about a right angle to the proximal bristle portion and the brush optionally has a row of short straight bristles 39 parallel to the row of curved bristles on the concave curvature side of the curved bristles. In one embodiment the cross section of the bristles 49, 89 is triangular or other polygonal shape and approximately half of the bristles at the outer end portions of the bristle row are longer than others of the bristles and extend a greater distance from the bristle mounting face 37. A brush handle 23 has a generally circular cross section and is slightly flattened on one side 31 to facilitate controlled rotation of the brush about its longitudinal axis; the handle has circumferential grooves 27 for better gripping action.

摘要： The invention relates to a brush provided with bristles made of an organic thermoplastic synthetic material such as nylon, particularly a tooth-brush. The free ends of the bristles which are sharp and therefore able to damage soft surfaces are made round by a heat treatment. The bristle ends are preferably submitted to a laser beam treatment, the source of laser beams being preferably placed below the bristle ends. Particularly, the brush and the heat source are submitted to a relative movement and the heat treatment takes place in an atmosphere of an inert gas. The invention relates also to a brush, preferably a tooth brush, having a head carrying a plurality of monofilaments made of an organic thermoplastic synthetic material. The monofilaments are tangentially welded to each other in a hole provided in said head, so that a plurality of capillary channels is obtained, said channels being open, on the one hand, on the side where the filaments protrude from the brush head and, on the other hand, on the side of the brush head opposite to the side carrying the protruding monofilaments. Impurities may thus be removed through the open-ended capillary channels, when the brush is cleaned.
