摘要： A spindle control method for a numerical controller (CNC). A microprocessor (11), a memory (12), and two counters (13, 15) for counting pulses from encoders form a servo control circuit (10) which is connected to a CNC bus (1). There are provided a power amplifier (21) for controlling the rotation of the spindle motor upon receiving an instruction from the servo control circuit (10), and a separate encoder (25) coupled to the spindle for feeding pulses back to the counter (13) to control the profile. One counter (13) of the servo control circuit (10) is used for detecting the rotation position of the spindle motor (22) and another counter (15) counts the pulses that are fed back for operations such as threading. Therefore, the spindle motor (22) is controlled for its position and rotations by the servo control circuit (10).

摘要： A device for detecting the absolute position of a moving part of a machine using a rotary encoder. The object is to detect any error that may develop in the content stored in the absolute position storage means. A register (4) stores the absolute position of when the power source circuit is closed and the present absolute position that is detected by a rotary encoder (2) based on the subsequent amount of movement. A counter (5) counts the quantity of shift from a position of generating a one-turn signal of the rotary encoder (2). When the moving part stops, a coincidence circuit (6) collates the present position stored in the register (4) with the counted content of the register (5), and generates an error signal when they are not in agreement. Therefore, the machine tool and the like are prevented from erroneously operating.

To improve a drive of this type in a way which reduces manufacturing and operating costs without detriment to its functional qualities, the control device (1) takes the form of a current transformer such that in the power ranges usual for electric door drives, electric motors (2, 3, 4) of any dimensions can be supplied with energy in accordance with their demand from mains transformers (5, 6, 7) of any dimensions even in case of diverging nominal voltages.

摘要： An elevator car door is moved by a variable voltage, variable frequency linear induction motor which is driven open current loop to achieve a desired velocity profile indicated by an incremental linear encoder, with washed out proportional and integral gain. A magnetizing current insufficient to overcome the weight of the door is added in quadrature with the linear force current, and frequency is determined open loop in a predetermined fashion. Pulse width modulation voltage control signals are utilized to apply fixed voltages of correct polarity through a low pass three phase filter to the windings of the motor for correct intervals of time so as to synthesize desired sinusoidal winding currents. A boost of current is provided following each zero crossing of the sinusoidal winding currents to overcome lags therein. A ramp down of voltage avoids dropping the door at the end of door opening and door closing.

摘要： A positioning system for accurately positioning components and the like in which a two-dimensional linear motor moves upon an air bearing across a large platen having a predetermined grid pattern yielding reasonably good resolution. A second two-dimensional positioning assembly of extremely fine resolution is secured to the linear motor arranged to traverse the large platen. Location sensors are provided in closed loop feedback system for detecting the X and Y positions. Coarse resolution is obtained by operating the first two-dimensional linear motor and fine resolution is obtained by operating the second two-dimensional positioning assembly, preferably after disabling the air bearing. The fine positioning system may also include a driver motor for rotating a manipulator arranged upon the second positioning system to correct for any angular misalignment of the component being placed by the manipulator.

摘要： A microprocessor numerical control system having a prom module which contains the operating program of the system and a processor module which contains a microprocessor generating multiplexed data and address information on an internal bus. The processor module further includes bus control logic and address and data transceivers which interface the internal bus with the system's address data and control buses. The processor module further includes a variety of timing and interrupt control circuits which permits selective communication with other modules in the system. The system further includes a peripherial interface module having thereon logic to communicate with a CRT, keyboard, audible and visual indicators and an A to D converter which may be used to input feedrate override information into the processor memory. The peripherial interface module further provides interface circuitry between the processor module and a CRT display and has the capability of displaying on the display, in response to operator commands, input via the keyboard, a character display having a height which is twice that which is displayed in the normal mode of operation. The system further includes a servo output module for generating commands to drive associated motors on each of the axes of the machine tool and a transducer module which provides feedback information from these machine axes. In addition, the system further includes an input signal and an output signal module that are used to indicate and/or command the various states or modes of operation of the machine.
