    • A vehicle exhaust system includes a subsystem having an exterior pipe formed of a polymer. A rigid liner extends along the length of the exterior pipe and defines a passageway. A fiber insulating layer is formed between the rigid liner and the exterior pipe. The liner is formed to define at least one groove circumscribing the periphery of the passageway. The groove defines a region of increased volume of the exhaust passage along the length. The liner is further formed to define at least one void extending between the wall of the liner and the insulating layer, around the periphery of the passageway. A plurality of apertures in the liner, allow sound waves to pass from the passageway into the fiber insulating layer, and into the void.

    • A water cooled exhaust tube, especially for boats, comprises an outer housing (3) formed as a tube, an inner tube (1) extending coaxially in the housing, at a radial distance from the latter, and a cam (7), extending in a screw line shaped manner in the longitudinal direction of the housing, spanning the distance between the housing (3) and the inner tube (1) and forming a channel (11), extending in a screw line shaped manner between the housing (3) and the inner tube (1). The inner tube (1) conducts the exhaustsgases while the channel (11) conducts cooling water separately from the exhaust gases. The exhaust tube is flexible since all parts are made in rubber. In the inner tube (1) silencing means (17) can be arranged to from a silencer. The inner tube (1) is adapted to be replaceable int he outer housing (3) and can be a rubber hose.

    • An exhaust redirect line in communication with an engine exhaust channel of a marine vehicle receiving exhaust gas. A blower unit in the exhaust redirect line directing the exhaust gas through the exhaust redirect line. A mixing chamber in communication with the exhaust redirect line receiving the engine exhaust gas. An injector unit in communication with the mixing chamber introducing a chemical agent, air and water into the mixing chamber to provide a treated exhaust gas. An output vane disposed on an exterior underside of a hull being in communication with the mixing chamber discharging the treated exhaust gas underneath the hull as a foam, whereby the engine exhaust gas is encapsulated and detoxified by the chemical agent in the foam to prevent the exhaust gas from entering the surrounding water and wherein the foam reduces friction between the hull and the surrounding water to improve engine efficiency.
