    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate engagement of a locking element and an ulnar component in an elbow prosthesis.
      SOLUTION: The elbow prosthesis comprises a humeral component forming a first articulate surface and the ulnar component forming a second articulating surface. The second articulating surface is disposed around a part of the first articulating surface, and pivot about the longitudinal axis of the face. The ulnar component has an attaching means for attaching the locking element forming a third articulating surface. The third articulating surface extending the second articulating surface, and is disposed around a part of the first articulating surface. The attaching means has a guide means, which cooperates with a complementary means mounted on the locking element for guiding the locking element to a prescribed position relative to the ulnar component in a prescribed direction. The locking element is immobilized on the ulnar component by a blocking means, which is usable only at the position.
