摘要： A vacuum fixing device for parts, comprising a small pad portion 1 and a large pad portion 2, which are different in diameter from each other and each formed therein with suction paths and provided on one and the same axis, wherein the small pad portion 1 is switched over to the large pad portion 2 or vice versa. When a small part 14 is sucked, a movable shaft 11 of the large pad portion 2 is slid downwardly, and suction is performed through a suction path 3 of a small pad 4 and a suction path 5 of a fixed shaft 7, and, when a large part 15 is sucked, the suction is performed through both suction routes including a route through a suction path 8 of a large pad 9, a suction path 10 of the movable shaft 11, and air paths 6 and a suction path 5 of the fixed shaft, and another route through a suction path 3 of the small pad 4 and a suction path 5 of the fixed shaft 7.

The chip (C) are recorded by the camera, which is provided between the parts stage 1 and the mounting stage 3 in the conveyance path. The parts data is extracted from the picture information which is recorded by the video camera 7. The picture information is stored in the memory. 摘要： A chip feeder arranged to intermittently transport a tape having a row of a multiplicity of chip-like electronic parts retained thereon from a tape supply section to a chip takeout section along a guide path. Along the tape guide path are provided a pair of fixed and movable guide plates, a guide width adjusting device and a pitch adjusting device. The guide plates engage both lateral edges, respectively, of the tape being fed so as to guide it. The guide width adjusting device changes the spacing between the two guide plates in accordance with the width of the tape by moving the movable guide plate toward or away from the fixed guide plate. The pitch adjusting device adjusts the tape feed pitch in accordance with the dimensions of chips to be fed. Chips which are transported to the chip takeout section are removed from the tape by means of suction after a protective cover covering the tape has been separated therefrom.
