The algorithm is embodied as a readable, executable instruction in a device readable medium. The algorithm further sets forth a method for laser vision correction.

摘要： The invention relates to a presbyopia-correcting lens, particularly a contact lens or intraocular lens, and a method for producing such a lens. At least one near vision zone having high refractive power and at least one far vision zone having low refractive power are arranged on said lens so as to provide simultaneous near vision and far vision. Said near vision and far vision zones merge by means of a transition area. The inventive lens is characterized by the fact that the at least one near vision zone and the at least one far vision zone are arranged in a rotationally asymmetric manner on the lens while the transition area is about centrally located on the lens and the distribution of the refractive power is approximately coma-shaped. The inventive production method allows client-specific lenses to be produced with a similar distribution of the near vision and far vision zones, the transition area being centered approximately in front of the pupil (optical axis) of the eye.

摘要： A selectively marked contact lens having, in one aspect, marks in an optical zone region on a surface thereof and, in another aspect, different marks outside an optical zone region of the lens, for an in-vivo lens. With the lens in-vivo, the subject's eye is illuminated and the lens is imaged. A fast algorithm is used to determine the mark coordinates in relation to a measured pupil coordinate to determine position and/or orientation of the contact lens. A wavefront aberration measurement can also be obtained simultaneously with the contact lens position measurement, as well as pupil size. A fast algorithm provides for online measurements; i.e., at a repetition rate of 10Hz or greater, over a selected time interval. Blinking periods are determined and anomalous lens position and/or wavefront information is discarded. A most frequently occurring wavefront and/or contact lens position/orientation is determined over the selected time interval.
