摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respiratory treatment apparatus configured to provide a flow of breathable gas to a patient.SOLUTION: The respiratory treatment apparatus includes: a breathable air outlet, an outside air inlet, and a pneumatic block module. The pneumatic block module includes: a volute assembly including an inlet air passage, a mount for a blower and an outlet air passage; the blower being mounted in the mount such that an impeller of the blower is in a flow passage connecting the inlet air passage and the outlet air passage; a casing enclosing the volute assembly, wherein air passages within the casing connect air ports on the volute assembly. The inlet air passage of the volute assembly is in fluid communication with the outside air inlet, and the outlet air passage of the volute assembly is in fluid communication with the air outlet.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breathing assistance device for a patient and a breathing assistance method for assisting a patient using the breathing assistance device.SOLUTION: The breathing assistance device for a patient breathing in successive cycles in which each cycle is defined by at least one inspiration phase and at least one expiration phase, includes: a supply source of respiratory pressurized gas; a gas transmission duct whose distal end is connected to the supply source and proximal end is connected to the patient; and a gas regulating valve 50 comprising at least one leakage orifice 531 between the inside and outside of the duct and an obstruction element 54 capable of varying the opening of the leakage orifice by signals of a controller. The gas regulating valve is inserted at a proximal position inside the duct, and the obstruction element is capable of allowing bidirectional gas flow through the leakage orifice in both expiration phase and inspiration phase.

SOLUTION: In a ventilator for the supply of pressure respiratory gas having the entrance and outlet of the respiratory gas and a rotor which is arranged so that it is rotated and driven by a motor, the outlet is arranged so that the pressure respiratory gas to leave is discharged in a direction which is substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor, and the outlet has a convergent part where flux generated by the rotor is arranged so that it focused in an oblique direction to this axis of rotation and a rectification part which arranged downstream of the convergent part and makes the flux which comes out of the ventilator head in the direction which is substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor.

摘要： A respiratory device, such as a ventilator, for use in treating respiratory disorders and for preventing respiratory disorders. The respiratory device is configured to be powered from a range of different power sources including an internal battery, an external battery, AC power source or a DC power source. The device may be electrically connectable to a plurality of external batteries in a series and the power from each external battery is used sequentially along the series. A controller of the respiratory device is configured to detect the connection of the different power sources and control use of the different power sources using a power priority scheme. The controller may determine an estimate of the total available battery capacity from all the electrically connected batteries and display the total battery capacity on a user interface display of the device.
