摘要： The dry or moist granular material spreader has a disc onto which the material is fed via a vertical tube extending from a hopper. The spreader disc is directed into sectors by radial ribs, and the feed onto the disc may be stopped using rotatable segments positioned above it. Each segment is connected to an operating ring (11) by an arm and link, the individual arms being arranged so that some sections are closed while others are open. The feed tube (4) contains a vertical rotary shaft (10) on the bottom part of which is a screw conveyor.

Apparatus for continuously feeding granular material to a pneumatic conveyer line 32, Fig. 1, comprises double lock pressure chambers 21, 25 feeding to a vibratory conveyer 30 enclosed within a pressurized chamber 28 through which the conveying air passes as from supply 29 to carry the material away from a collecting duct 31. The outlet 33 from the collecting duct 31 may be arranged as an injector. The flow of material from the lower lock chamber 25 is assisted by a vibratory plate 39 arranged above the outlet duct 36 and connected to the vibratory conveyer 30 through a linkage 35. A tilting charging trough 40, Fig. 2 (not shown), supplying material to the upper lock chamber 21 is connected to the valve 22 through links 43, 44 (not shown) for automatically opening the valve 22 prior to discharge. Serrations on the link 43 ride over a fixed member 45 to vibrate the valve 22 to prevent particles of material from remaining on the upper face of the valve 22.
