摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for managing a multicast routing on a network. SOLUTION: A cluster master positively participates in a multicast control protocol communication with a neighbor cluster master, while a member node not serving as a master does not participate in operation of a protocol outside the cluster. Virtually, respective cluster members maintain the same protocol state. A new member to the cluster is synchronized when it receives the latest protocol state information from the master. After synchronization of the initial protocol state, the cluster member positively monitors the network to exchange protocol state information unavailable on the outside of the network between the cluster members.
