摘要： A vehicle-mounted navigation apparatus includes a display control unit which reads road map data from a map data storage device used for storing a plurality of road map data concerning road maps with different reduced scales in accordance with a current position of the vehicle detected by a position detecting unit. The display control unit superimposes the selected scale indication pattern on the selected road map. Since a map with a desired reduction of scale with a desired scale indication pattern corresponding to the scale reduction of the map superimposed thereon can be displayed on the screen, the driver can readily obtain a map with a desired reduction of scale and a scale pattern corresponding to the reduction of scale on the screen, and thereby detection of the real distance can be readily and correctly performed, ensuring a smooth and safe cruising of the vehicle.

摘要： In a thin film deposition apparatus, a vapor generation source including a crucible containing a desposition material is disposed inside an ionization means, the crucible being disposed below a cathode filament. Since the upper section of the crucible is heated by the heat of the filament, the creeping up of a molten metal deposition material having a good wettability can be suppressed. Also, the temperature of a surrounding anode is maintained higher than the melting point of the deposition material because the crucible disposed in the ionization means is heated. Therefore, the deposition of the material onto the anode can be prevented.

摘要： A head drive for a rotary drum device comprising a plurality of yokes made of magnetic material and magnets housed in the yokes for forming a plurality of magnetic fluxes. A bobbin, comprising a first material surrounds the magnets and has a coil formed on the bobbin. The coil is covered with a second material. At least one circular, non-magnetic leaf spring having an inner periphery and an outer periphery and supported at the outer periphery or the inner periphery by at least one of the yokes and the magnetic means supports the coil. Fixing members, comprising a third material are positioned at the inner periphery of the leaf spring. This third material is positively dissolved and welded to at least one of the first material and the second material with a bonding solvent whereby the leaf spring supports the coil. A prolongation at a portion of the outer periphery of the leaf spring can support a magnetic head.
