    • The analytical system (1) with a reagent carrier (2), has a rotor driven under control, a receiver (32) accommodating reagent vessels, a second rotor for sample vessels (40), with a pipetting unit (16) on a lifting and swinging unit (18) moving to a from the rotor (12). The pipetting unit has a wash station (43). A detector (22) and control unit (12) operate the rotor drive and that of the pipette and detector. Sample vessels are placed on the path of the swinging pipette and the first receiver is provided in the reaction rotor (12) to take measurement cuvettes. The detector reaches an angular position of the reaction rotor for in-curvette analysis. The reagent carrier (2) has a pre-filled cuvette containing a pre-formulated wet chemical reagent system specific to the test, and also the measurement cuvette (44). Preferred Features: A photometric detector and a bound/free separation station are included. The detector is a photomultiplier for chemiluminescence measurement. A computer for data storage and comparison, includes a results printer. Cuvettes are closed by penetrable membranes and also have machine-readable identification, with manufacturer code interpreted by a laser reader. Cuvettes are connected with system reagent carriers by intentional break points.
