    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To advantageously form a rough surface pattern on the inner surface of an exchange tube by way of one-step roller pressing, by configurating the pattern such that compressions are provided with a surface micro-roughness and opposite flanks of adjacent ribs are connected to channel bottoms by means of rounded transition portions. SOLUTION: The inner surface 3 of an exchange tube is formed of flanks, channels 13 and ribs 7, which extend at an angle αdeviating from 90 deg. relative to the longitudinal axis 6 of the exchange tube. The center longitudinal planes MLE of depressions 14 are arranged at an angle γ deviating from 90 deg. relative to the longitudinal axis 6 of the exchange tube. The depressions 14 are formed so as to follow a sinusoidal progression in longitudinal cross-section of the ribs 7, which are provided with a surface micro-roughness and which are rounded on the top, and opposite flanks of adjacent ribs 7 are connected to channel bottoms by means of rounded transition portions. As a result, it is possible to obtain a uniform and favorable evaporation efficiency or condensation efficiency when the ribs are reduced in weight on the one hand and use a one-step pressing method for production on the other hand.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance casting capacity, to ensure the good quality of continuous body and to prolong the service life of a mold by optimizing the heat conduction of the continuous body of partial molten metal by forming a hollow space part in the mold into plural zones of conical state and forming at least one zone high in thermal conductivity on the surface at the cooling side. SOLUTION: The hollow space part in the mold 1 is divided into two zones extended in conical state. A first zone is formed into the conical shape having 2.4%/m and a second zone succeeding the first zone is formed into the conical shape having 1%/m. The optimum cooling zone 2 having the triangular recessed parts 3 in the cross section is extended to the cooling side surface of the mold 1. The start of cooling zone length is controlled to 60mm below the pouring side of the molten metal. The pattered zone 2 is arranged only at the outside of curved state of the cylindrical mold 1 to obtain the optimum solidification condition for the continuously cast metal during casting work. Thus, by this mold, the casting capacity is enhanced, the continuously body having the good quality is obtained, and the heat conduction in the continuous body of the partial molten metal can be optimized.
