摘要： The present invention provides a file management system that includes a file indexing framework that allows third parties to contribute index handlers that are responsible for populating index entries for the artifacts they own and/or generate. The framework manages the creation, maintenance, and update of the index, and calls the index handlers at appropriate times so they can parse files that they understand for values that need to be stored in the index. The framework also provides APIs for querying the standardized fields of the index, so applications can search for standard types of data contributed for any of the indexed files. The present invention also provides a mechanism to keep track of symbolic name associations for every file/entity in the system. Specifically, the present invention provides a session-based and transient shadow table of symbolic names previously used by the files (even beyond the lifetime of the files themselves).

摘要： There is described an artificial neural network (ANN) which comprises means for transmitting global resources of different types (category, context, ..) on a single data bus via a selector with an address attached thereto and control logic means to ensure a proper operation of the neurons during the learning and recognition phases under the supervision of a host computer/user. The at least one of the infrastructures is selected for migration to a cloud. The cloud includes at least one of an infrastructure as a service cloud and a platform as a service cloud. The existing substructures of the at least one of the infrastructures are migrated to the cloud, without application-level change. A business agility component is assembled and is configured to control extending and shrinking resources of the cloud that are devoted to the at least one of the infrastructures. The resources of the cloud that are devoted to the at least one of the infrastructures are extended and shrunk, using the business agility component.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a system and a method for enabling an auditor, during the course of a presentation, to select one or a plurality of topics drawing his attention or interest, and, immediately after said presentation or at a later time, to access information related to the topics previously selected. The present invention requires the minimum possible effort and involvement from the auditor (simply pressing a selection button on the auditor's device). When the presentation is over, the auditor can directly consult the information related with the selected topics. The claimed system is based on a synchronization of the local times of the speaker workstation and auditor's devices according to a same universal-time, so that the times at which selections of interesting topics are made by auditors can be correlated with the time intervals during which the presentation foils are presented by the speaker. In a particular embodiment, the synchronization between the speaker workstation and the audience devices is done referring to an universal time based, for instance on a satellite system.

摘要： A method is described for forming an integrated structure, including a semiconductor device and connectors for connecting to a motherboard. A first layer (26) is formed on a plate (23) transparent to ablating radiation, and a second layer (32) on the semiconductor device (31). The first layer has a first set of conductors (27) connecting to bonding pads (27p), which are spaced with a first spacing distance in accordance with a required spacing of connections to the motherboard. The second layer has a second set of conductors (33) connecting to the semiconductor device. The first layer and second layer are connected using a stud/via connectors (29, 36) having spacing less than that of the bonding pads. The semiconductor device is thus attached to the first layer, and the first set and second set of conductors are connected through the studs. The interface between the first layer and the plate is ablated by ablating radiation (45) transmitted through the plate, thereby detaching the plate. The connector structures (47, 48, 49) are then attached to the bonding pads. This method permits fabrication of a high-density packaged device with reduced cost.
