    • A pile assembly which is driven into the earth for building foundations of engineering and construction employs a leading pile comprising a hollow column having a plurality of openings formed in a side wall thereof and a lower sharpened tip end and an open upper end, a wedge component having a plurality of elongated wedge members. The wedge component is movable downwardly in a space within the column. The leading pile has a guide component for guiding said elongated wedge members through the openings of the column into the earth when the wedge means is depressed. At least one coupling pile is connected to the leading pile comprising a hollow column having a plurality of openings formed in a side wall thereof and an open lower end and an open upper end, a wedge component having a plurality of elongated wedge members and an inner pillar for depressing the wedge component of the lower pile, which is movable downwardly in a space within the column, and a guide component for guiding the elongated wedge members through openings of the column into the earth when the wedge component is depressed.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the stability in the ground by providing a plurality of openings in a side wall of a hollow pile body and mounting a core body, in which a plurality of wedge bodies are disposed, in the pile body so that the wedge bodies are engaged with the openings. CONSTITUTION: A core body 5, to which a plurality of wedge bodies 6 and inner drive bodies 7 are attached, is put into a leading pile body 2 from a top opening thereof. And the body 5 is pushed as far as a point where the forward end of the body 6 of the body 5 contacts an opening 4 of the body 2 so as to be engaged therewith to form a pile for use in a civil construction work. And in the construction work, the pile is inserted into the ground from the forward end direction of the body 2 and the body 5 is then pushed to move it in the forward direction and the body 6 is protruded outward from the opening 4 so as to be inserted obliquely into the ground. And when the pile is driven deeply into the ground, a joint pile body 2' is connected to the body 2 through a connector 3 and a core body 5' is pushed to cause the body 6 to protrude from the opening 4 into the ground.

    • PURPOSE: To stabilize underground a pile under civilengineering works and prevent slipping out of the pile by forming it from a joint pile and a leading pile furnished with an opening in the side wall, and fitting a core having a plurality of wedges in each pile. CONSTITUTION: The head tip of a leading pile 2 is shaped conical, while the tail end is left open, and a connection part is formed into a single piece at the edge of the opening. The inside of each joint pile 2' is made hollow, and the two ends are left open. Further an opening 4 is bored in the side wall of each pile, and each wedge 6 furnished at a core 5 is protruded to outside the pile from the opening 4. At service, the leading pile 2 is previously driven into the earth, and a necessary number of joint piles 2' are put in connections. After completion of driving, the core 5 is pressed. The core 5 moves toward the head tip of the pile, and the wedge 6 of the core 5 protrudes into the earth through the opening 4 or 3' so that the rooted state is established.
