    • A system for removing lagging (10) from piping (12) in which a continuous length of sheet material has two sides sealed together along one elongated edge (24) and being substantially open along an opposite elongated edge. The open edge is adapted for securing around the piping (12) and for receiving the hazardous materials from the piping (12). The two sides are sealed together at spaced intervals (28) along the length of the sheet material to define individual interconnected bags (26) positionable in a side-by-side relationship along the piping (12), with the sealed elongated edge (24) defining bottoms for the bags (26). The sheet material is perforated (30, 32) for readily separating any one bag (26) from any adjacent bag (26) whereby a plurality of interconnected bags (26) can be appropriately secured to the piping (12) along said open top edge and indi­vidually removed from the piping (12).

    • An air purification apparatus (10) has an inner housing (40) with an air inlet (46) and an air outlet (48). Preferably the inner housing is fabricated as a one-piece molded plastic structure. A filter (42) is mounted within the inner housing. A blower (44) is mounted within the inner housing for drawing air in through the inlet, through the filter and out through the outlet. An outer housing (12) is secured substantially about the inner housing with portions thereof spaced from the inner housing and having an air inlet and an air outlet (32) communicating respectively with the air inlet (46) and the air outlet (48) of the inner housing (40). In the preferred embodiment, the outer housing is fabricated as a one-piece structure of molded plastic material, with integrally molded vertical reinforcing ribs (22), stackable detents on the top and the bottom of the housing, and a recessed integral ring (26) about the outlet for storing an electrical cord (30). Closures are provided for the inlet and the outlet of the outer housing to seal the housing when the apparatus is not in use.

    • An air purification system for use with an air conditioning apparatus which includes an air circulation system having supply air flow to a given area and return air flow for drawing air from that area. The air purification system includes an inlet and an outlet. A conduit communicates the inlet with the air circulation system for drawing therefrom a portion of the air passing therethrough. A conduit communicates the outlet with the air circulation system downstream of the inlet for returning the portion of the air back to the circulation system after it has passed through the air purification unit. A superheating conduit also communicates between the inlet and an exhaust of the air conditioning apparatus, such as the chimney of a furnace.
