    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved and reliable dental applicator capable of directly spreading or applying a dental material to a tooth to grind the tooth while taking out a small quantity of the dental material from a capsule or a syringe without damaging the tooth even if a low viscosity dental material is used.
      SOLUTION: A dental nozzle, a dental cartridge 30, a dental capsule or a dental container has a porous or foamed outflow applicator 34 and a main body part 30A housing the low viscosity dental material at the discharge end part thereof. In one embodiment, a movable plunger or piston 33 is arranged in the main body part 30A in order to extrude the dental material through a discharge orifice and further attached to the outflow applicator 34.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental capsule especially proper for arranging an ultra density composite dental material by an injection technique. SOLUTION: The capsule (20) structure body according to the present invention is for taking out the whole quantity of the dental composite material in the capsule in small quantities. This capsule contains a body portion (21), which forms a reservoir containing a predetermined amount of dental material and further has an opening (24) in one edge, and a drain nozzle (26) where a passage having a terminal in a drain orifice (27) extends and passes is arranged and connected with an angle in another edge. A piston (25) or a cylinder for displacement in a long stretched form seals the opening edge (24) of the capsule body portion (21) When the piston is displaced and proceeded by, for example, an injector, a material forming this piston (25) has enough stiffness to press out the material in the reservoir and enough flexibility to pass through the curvature part having an angle of the nozzle, extending through the passage of a drain nozzle (26) and pressing out the whole quantity of the material contained within the reservoir.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental capsule capable of taking out a highly viscous dental composite material in small quantities by a low extrusion force without damaging the dental composite material or capable of certainly extruding an almost total amount of the dental composite material. SOLUTION: The dental capsule is constituted so as to extrude the highly viscous dental composite material by a low extrusion force and equipped with a body part, a transfer part and a discharge part. The axis of the transfer part has a relation forming an angle between the axis of the body part and the axis of the discharge part. By providing this relation and the transfer part, the highly viscous dental composite material can be taken out in small quantities by the low extrusion force. In a separate embodiment, a flexible piston having a conical front end part is used to perfectly extrude the dental material from the dental capsule. The dental capsule in this separate embodiment has a flexible wall, and the flexible piston and the wall are allowed to cooperate to extrude the almost all of the dental material. When the highly viscous dental material is used in the dental capsule, the required extrusion force is low and the dental material is not damaged during extrusion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
