摘要： There is described a process for producing readily dispersible, nondusty dye preparations in granulated form, in which process difficultly water-soluble to water-insoluble dyes, pigments or optical brighteners, in a finely dispersed form, and water-insoluble carrier resins from the polyvinylacetal class are added, with vigorous shaking or stirring, to a two-phase system composed of water and a polar organic solvent having only limited solubility in the aqueous phase; the organic phase containing the dye and the carrier resin is dissipated by dilution with water; and the particles of the preparation are separated and freed from the aqueous, solvent-containing phase by rinsing and drying; the preparations which contain transferable dyes are especially useful for preparing a printing ink by dispersion in a liquid medium composed of water or of an organic solvent or of a mixture of water and an organic solvent; the printing inks thus obtained are themselves useful for printing paper which can be used in a transfer printing process.

摘要： Described is a process for the production of solid dustfree preparations of water-soluble dyes and optical brighteners, which process comprises subjecting the pulverulent dyes or optical brighteners, together with a melt or a solution of ethylene carbonate or propylene carbonate, to a dynamic treatment. The preparations obtained have in particular the advantage that the dust-binding effect is retained undiminished over a long period of time, and that they are completely soluble when used in aqueous baths of dyes or optical brighteners.

摘要： A drying method particularly suited to the drying of pulverulent or granular feed materials to a predetermined residual water content is disclosed. Air is caused to flow past the material being dried from input to exhaust and the temperature of the exhaust air is continuously sensed. In a first stage input air is heated and then maintained at a first temperature for a period of time until after the exhaust air temperature passes a discontinuity and begins to rise rapidly. The first stage is brought to a close when the exhaust air temperature is intermediate the discontinuity temperature and the mean value of the discontinuity temperature and the first mentioned temperature. In a second process stage, the temperature of the input air, which is then preferably humidified, is reduced until the input air temperature and the exhaust air temperature both either asymptotically approach or reach an equilibrium temperature which is defined as the temperature at which the material being dried having the prescribed residual water content is in moisutre transfer equilibrium with the air flowing past it. Optionally, drying may be continued for a period of time with both the input and exhaust air temperatures equal to the equilibrium temperature.

摘要： The invention is directed to fluorinated alkylamido sulfonic acids and salts of the formula where Rf is straigt or branched chain perfluoroalkyl of 1 to 18 carbon atoms or perfluoroalkyl substituted by perfluoroalkoxy of 2 to 6 carbon atoms, R1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl and each of R2, R4 and R5 is individually hydrogen or a hydrocarbon radical, and R6 is alkylene, alkylenethioalkylene, alkyleneoxyalkylene or alkyleneiminoalkylene with a secondary or tertiary nitrogen atom. R3 is hydrogen, alkyl, aryl or pyridyl, M is hydrogen, a monovalent alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, an organic base or ammonium, and n is an integer corresponding to the valency of M. Said compounds are prepared by a base catalyzed addition reaction of the thiol, Rf-R6SH, to an alkyenylamido sulfonic acid salt. The compounds are useful as surfactants and as levelling agents in floor polish formulations.
