摘要： A suspension for pivotal track frames on terrain motor vehicles of the kind where the tractor body is supported by one single pivotal track frame on opposite sides of the body. The frames are provided with track wheels or belts. The new suspension comprises a journal bushing fixed to each of the pivotal frames and defining the pivot axis therefore. In the bushing are positioned thick-walled, solid tube-shaped elastic linings made of rubber or the like and which encompass a coaxially extending support beam mounted to the tractor body. The outside and the inside surfaces of the elastic linings are not rotatably joined to the inside of the bushing and the outside of the beam, respectively, such that the pivotal movements of the track frames when the tractor is moving through terrain take place under flexible deformation of the linings, which linings thus operate as spring suspensions and shock absorbers.

摘要： A loading and conveying device for timber logs and the like to be mounted on a motor vehicle. The device comprises an upright mast with a rearwardly directed cantilevered loading beam provided with means for hoisting and carrying the fore end of the load, such as a bundle of timber logs or the like, the rear end of which rests on the ground. The cantilevered beam is at the rear end provided with a transverse yoke member adapted to rest against and partly around the bundle. The winch equipment includes a hoisting strap depending from a point on the cantilevered beam positioned closer to the mast proper. The mast is in its mounting on the tractor body pivotally supported about a horizontal as well as about a vertical axis.

摘要： A PROCESS IS PROVIDED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FERROVANADIUM FROM SLAG OBTAINED FROM VANADIUM-CONTAINING PIG IRON OR OTHER VANADIUM-CONTAINING MATERIAL, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT THE REDUCTION OF THE SLAG IS CARRIED OUT IN TWO STEPS: (1) IN THE FIRST STEP A REDUCING AGENT IS ADDED IN SUCH AMOUNTS THAT THE SUBSTANTIAL PORTION OF THE IRON OXIDE IN THE SLAG IS SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCED TO METALLIC IRON, WHEREAS PRACTICALLY NONE OF THE VANADIUM OXIDE IS REDUCED; WHEREUPON AFTER REMOVING THE METALLIC IRON FROM THE SLAG, THE FLUID VANADIUM-RICH SLAG IS SUBJECTED TO A FURTHER FINAL REDUCTION STEP (2) BY ADDING A POWERFUL REDUCING AGENT THERETO, SUCH AS SI-RICH FERRO-SILICON IN SUCH AMOUNTS THAT THE REMAINING IRON OXIDE IN THE SLAG AND THE MAJOR PART OF THE VANADIUM OXIDE THEREIN IS REDUCED, AND WHEREBY THE REDUCING AGENT IS ADDED GRADUALLY UNDER CONTINUOUS AGITATION TO AVOID LOCAL CONCENTRATIONS OF THE REDUCING MATERIAL AND THE THUS-OBTAINED FERROVANADIUM IS REMOVED FROM THE SLAG IN A CONVENTIONAL MANNER.
