When the inside market changes in response to variable market conditions, a bid price and an ask price are shifted in parallel with the bid price axis or the ask price axis so that the index of the inside market can be repositioned, and returned to the original position. A user is able to input a transaction command with various price standards by using an input device. In order to make an assist to prevent such a transaction command from being input with an erroneous price standard, the system locks a pointer associated with the input device to the price pointed by the user as long as the user does not move the pointer from the price during a shift process.
