摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid or correct interferences by providing a multiphase filter filtering, at least upstream telephone communication information modulated on a plurality of orthogonal carriers for a demodulator. SOLUTION: An upstream signal is filtered by the band-pass filter 208 of 5-40 MHz and a mixer/synthesizer circuit 211 directly down-converts it into a base band. Output which is down-converted is given to an anti-alias filter 210 for conditioning, and the inphase/right angle phase component of the signal to an A/D converter 212 in the output is time area-sampled. A narrow band ingress filter/FFT 112 gives protection from narrow band interference, giving possibility for affecting upstream transmission and it contains multi-phase structure.

摘要： PURPOSE: To reduce characteristic reverse reflection by setting an end surface of an optical fiber in a 1st array at a specific angle where it does not cross an axis of rotation at right angles. CONSTITUTION: Switch bodies 12 and 14 are provided in a sleeve, and their end surfaces 12' and 14' face each other, so arrays 22 and 22' are arranged concentrically. Further, the switch bodies 12 and 14 can rotate in the sleeve and slide axially. The arrays 22 and 22' are polished so that their end surfaces have a radius R of curvature. The radius R of curvature is so selected that the terminal end of a fiber such as the end surface 42a of a fiber which is not coaxial with the axis X-X is set not at an angle A not perpendicular to an axis such as an axis Y-Y. The terminal end 42a of the fiber is set at non- right angles to the axis Y-Y of the fiber 42, and the reverse reflection is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a jack assembly constituted of one jack with no intermediate loop provided therefor for use in a video receiver by interposing a switch mechanism and a delay circuit between its first conductor and second conductor. CONSTITUTION: A jack 40 comprises a housing body 42 constituted of a forward part 43 and a backward part 44. The backward part 44 of the jack 40 has jack couplings 52 and 53 constituting the first and the second coupler means respectively. Ports 46 and 48 are a standard port for receiving therein a coaxial plug. The backward part 44 includes a solid-state circuit element 68 constituted of a non-cable element employed as a delay line. The circuit element 68 is combined with spring conductors 64 and 66 to form a delay circuit 62. The level of delay is determined such that the circuit element 68 simulates a coaxial cable of a length equal to a predetermined length of a patch code to be used in the jack.
