摘要： A method and system for remotely managing a scalable computer system is provided. Elements of an associated tool are embedded on a server and associated console. A service processor for each partition is provided, wherein the service processor supports communication between the server and the designated partition. An operator can discover and validate availability of elements in a computer system. In addition, the operator may leverage data received from the associated discovery and validation to configure or re-configure a partition in the system that support projected workload.

The server computing environment includes a decoding application. The encoding application includes a first thread that receives the commands and places them onto a first queue. The encoding application includes a second thread that receives the responses from a second queue and communicates the responses to a remote display device. The decoding application includes a third thread that receives the commands from the first queue, communicates the commands to the graphics hardware, receives the responses from the graphics hardware, and places the responses onto the second queue.

摘要： A monolithic wavelength stabilized system comprises a laser monolithically formed with a waveguide splitter having at least two branches. Non-identical resonators having different wavelengths are operatively coupled to each branch of the splitter and a photodiode is communicatively coupled to receive the output from each non-identical resonator. A control unit receives the photocurrent outputs from the photodiodes, determines based on the photocurrents whether the wavelength of the laser signal is at a desired value, and transmits a feedback signal to the laser to move the laser output toward the desired wavelength. The laser, splitter, resonators, and photodiodes are monolithically formed in a single chip using asymmetric waveguides.

摘要： The present invention provides for improved brain imaging and decoding methods that test subjects under authentic, natural conditions that allow for regular patterns of free-flowing thought and perception, as they occur in everyday life, while taking into account brain activities that were measured over spatially diverse regions of the whole-brain (whole-brain connectivity signatures). From such whole-brain connectivity signatures, specific cognitive traits and states are decoded and classified in a whole-brain connectivity analysis which takes into account the full pattern of brain activity. Such methods find applications in clinical diagnosis and monitoring of neuropsychiatric diseases and in nonclinical areas such as neuromarketing and neuroeconomics.
