    • The invention relates to a boundary light cartridge and a method for producing the same having a cartridge case (2) with a fitted projectile, a propelling charge powder arranged inside the cartridge case (2), and an ignition assembly for the propelling charge power, whereby the cartridge case (2) has a circumferential radial indentation (10) on the base (3) thereof in which the ignition assembly is arranged. In ignition assemblies which lack harmful substances, the invention provides that the base (3) of the cartridge case is pressed inward at least in partial areas in order to guarantee a complete and uniform reaction during short ignition times of an ignition assembly. As a result, the opening (13) of the indentation (10) is reduced in size toward the interior of the cartridge case (2).

    • A liquified gas-containing generator has a casing in which a reaction container containing liquified gas is accommodated. So as to trigger combustion of the liquified gas a puncture element with an overflow channel is driven into the reaction container. The kinetic energy for the puncture element is generated pyrotechnically by initiation of an ignition element. The ignition gases of the ignition element pass via the overflow channel into the interior of the reaction container where these gases induce combustion of the liquified gas. The combustion gases arising thereby pass via the overflow channel out of the reaction container into a hollow space in which the puncture element is arranged. The hollow space is sealed in relation to a discharge passage by a bursting membrane. This bursting membrane bursts open when a minimum pressure of the combustion gases is reached and thereby opens the way for discharge of the combustion gases out of the casing via the discharge passage.

    • Ignition of a separating charge in a cavity between a flash-conducting tube and a casing of a propellant charge igniter extending below a combustible tube is brought about by the propellant gases passing through priming bores from the outside of the propellant charge igniter to be used in a breech of a cannon or like weapon. This requires a seal acting in the manner of a valve being positioned at the flash-conducting tube head and being urged towards the casing. An especially suitable sealing means in a sealing ring located in an annular groove having a cross-section shape similar to a trapezoid. In case, for example, on account of low temperatures, the pressure buildup of the propellant gases occurs more gradually, the separation of the combustible tube from the bottom piece is thereby also automatically initiated at a later point in time. Thereby, flashback in the breech zone of the cannon is avoided and ballistics are improved.
