摘要： A process is disclosed for producing hydrogen of high purity from kerosene in petroleum oil. A feed of kerosene containing up to 1,000 wt.ppm of sulfur compounds is brought into contact with a nickel-containing sorbent at below 50 kg/cm.sup.2.G and at 150.degree.-350.degree. C. The resulting kerosene feed is further treated with a reforming catalyst under standard steam reforming conditions.

摘要： The present invention provides a compact heat exchanger-integrated reaction device, comprising a heat exchange section and a reaction section, capable of providing high heat recovery performance, with a small number of ducts of the reaction section formed for supplying and return paths without increasing the volume of the entire reaction device. With the heat exchanger-integrated reaction device equipped with ducts in the reaction section adjacent to the plate-stacking-type heat exchange section, collection ducts for allowing a plurality of regions having openings for discharging a fluid to be processed to be connected with at least one supplying duct of the reaction section, and distribution ducts for allowing at least one supplying duct of the reaction section to be connected with a plurality of regions having openings for receiving the fluid from the heat exchange section are provided between the heat exchange section and the duct of the reaction section. The collection and distribution ducts are placed between one side surface of the heat exchange section and the supplying/return ducts of the reaction section, and the above structure can be obtained by opening a part of the contact surface between the heat exchange section and the duct of the reaction section. Even if the region having the inlets/outlets of the heat exchange section is divided into pieces in order to increase heat exchange performance, the reaction section is integrated into an uninterrupted flow or flows whose quantity is smaller than the total quantity of the regions. Consequently, reactions and heating can be controlled easily.

摘要： An exhaust gas cleaner comprising (a) at least one filter made of a heat-resistant and electrically insulating material for trapping floating fine particles in an exhaust gas; and (b) at least a pair of electrodes stacked with the filter alternately, voltage being applied between the adjacent electrodes to burn electrically conductive and burnable fine particles trapped in the filter by heat generated by a current flowing between the adjacent electrodes, and the direction of the flow of the exhaust gas in the filter being essentially parallel to that of the laminate surface of the electrodes. The filter may carry a catalyst which functions to reduce harmful gas components in the exhaust gas.

摘要： A self-heat exchange type heat exchanger which can provide a greater heat transfer area in a limited capacity, can be easily prepared and can lead to drastic enhancement of heat exchange efficiency. A heat exchanger having a partition type heat transfer material (BF) for parting a high temperature fluid (1) and a low temperature fluid (2) from each other, characterized in that the heat transfer material (BF) is bellows-shaped and is arranged such that both the fluids (1, 2) flow counter to each other mainly through the gap portion in the bellows section of the heat transfer material (BF) along the ridge line or valley line thereof and the heat transfer material (BF) has a fluid forwarding space portion (F) at one or both ends thereof crossing the ridge line of the bellows section for forwarding one of the fluids to the gap portion in the bellows section on the opposite side thereof, whereby the fluid which has been forwarded to the opposite side via the fluid forwarding space portion (F) acts as the other fluid to be heat-exchanged to perform heat exchange.
