    • A wireless communication device (140) and method therein for handling connection state changes in a wireless communication system (100) are disclosed. The wireless communication device (140) comprises at least two SIMs, in which a first SIM is in a first original connection state towards a first network node, a second SIM is in a second original connection state towards a second network node. The wireless communication device first determines whether a battery power in the wireless communication device is below a first threshold. When the battery power is below the first threshold, the wireless communication device selects a SIM out of the at least two SIMs for which to change its original connection state to a third connection state based on a parameter. The third connection state is a connection state implying lower power consumption for the wireless communication device compared to its original connection state. Then the wireless communication device performs a connection state change for the selected SIM from its original connection state to the third connection state.

    • Receiver resources are allocated based on how subframes are allocated within in a frame between downlink and uplink transmissions and how often the receiver is expected to report feedback information associated with the downlink transmissions. Additional time is available for processing received data blocks if the feedback information derived from those blocks must be reported later than expected due to the unavailability of uplink subframes. According to one embodiment, received signals are processed by receiving transmission configuration information indicating how downlink and uplink subframes are allocated within a frame in the time domain. Based on the transmission configuration information, the receiver determines whether a delay that exceeds a feedback reporting interval assigned to the receiver will occur when reporting feedback information associated with the downlink subframes. Receiver resources are allocated based on whether a delay will occur when reporting the feedback information.

    • A beamforming method is disclosed of a multi-antenna transmitter configured for operation in a listen- before-talk (LBT) environment. The method comprises transmitting – in transmission resources of a collection of one or more transmission resources corresponding to an LBT sensing event – according to a primary emission pattern (e.g., a primary beam) having a main lobe in a primary angular direction associated with a channel path towards an intended receiver, and transmitting according to one or more secondary emission patterns. The one or more secondary emission patterns – when accumulated over the collection of transmission resources corresponding to the LBT sensing event – are configured to indicate channel occupancy in angular directions other than the primary angular direction. In some embodiments, the one or more secondary emission patterns comprises a plurality of secondary emission patterns (e.g., a plurality of secondary beams). Transmitting according to the one or more secondary emission patterns may comprise executing a sweep of the respective secondary beams over the collection of transmission resources corresponding to the LBT sensing event. In some embodiments, the one or more secondary emission patterns consists of a single secondary emission pattern (e.g., an omni-directional emission pattern). Corresponding apparatus, transmitter, network node, wireless communication device, and computer program product are also disclosed.
