摘要： A child seat comprises a seat portion 12 and a base portion 18, the two being releasably connected via spring loaded attachment means 68 and 56/58, which can be operated by button 60 to release the seat portion. The base portion attaches to the vehicle seat via clamps 52, similar clamps 152 are provided on the seat portion to enable it to be used independently of the base portion. Sub-frame 52 rests against the vehicle seat back, to prevent rotation of the base portion about clamps 52. In use, installation of the seat portion on the base portion, prevents the release of clamps 52 from the vehicle seat. Indicating means are provided to allow visual confirmation that the base portion is secured to the vehicle seat.

摘要： A child seat is formed of a child seat main portion for holding a child having an engaging member, and a base on which the child seat main portion is detachably mounted. The base has a connecting portion to be connected to a vehicle, and a fixing member to be engageable with the engaging member of the child seat main portion. An engagement releasing member is installed in the base or the child seat main portion for releasing an engagement between the fixing member and the engaging member. Since the base can be connected to the vehicle without the child seat main portion, the child seat can be extremely simply fixed to the vehicle.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for an upper part of a child seat capable of reducing impact applied to a child seat seated person from a restraint in a head-on collision of a fast moving body. SOLUTION: This supporting device 80 is provided with a connecting member 84 connected with the upper part of the child seat 10 by a tether belt 70 and a base plate 86 holding the connecting member 84 in a vehicular rear panel 60 in a rear of a seat 50, and it supports the upper part of the child seat 10 via the tether belt 70. The base plate 86 has a rail part 90 provided with a stress absorbing groove 96 and extended in an approaching/separating direction to the seat 50. When excessive turning torque is generated on the child seat 10 installed on the seat 50 and the connecting member 84 is pulled forward by force of a predetermined value or more, the supporting device 80 absorbs stress by the torque in the stress absorbing groove 96 and lets the connecting member 84 advance along the rail part 90.
