    • PURPOSE:To prevent bubbles from generating and contrive improvements in tensile strength and oil resistance, by a method wherein the title sheet material is prerolled so that the same becomes specific bulk density and pressure drop through each of finish pressure rolls is performed at a specific pressure drop factor. CONSTITUTION:Graphite raw materials 1 is inflation-treated in a heating and inflating furnace 2 after chemical treatment, made into inflated graphite 1' and cut down on a belt conveyor by a fixed quantity. Then after leveling of the same to equal height with a raw material height adjusting plate 4, the same is prerolled with a prerolling upper belt 5 and prerolling roll 5a. Then finish rolling is performed with a six-stage finishing pressure roll. Bulk density control of the inflated graphite 1' at an outlet of a prerolling machine is performed so that the bulk density falls within a range of 0.1-0.8g/cm . At the time of the controlling it is performed according to degrees of the inflation treatment and prepressure drop. Then a pressure drop factor of rolling through upstream side finishing pressure rolls 6, 6-9,9 is made 50+ or -10%. Generation of a crack is prevented by letting bubbles go by controlling sudden pressure drop.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance reaction efficiency by processing with physical adsorption reaction or chemical reaction to a pelletized adsorbent in an environment of giving waves of roughness and denseness like sounds. CONSTITUTION:As the difference between the formation substance concentration and equilibrium concentration of reaction surface forms a reaction screwing force in chemical reaction, agitation is carried out to lower the surface concentration. On the other hand, often reaction is accelerated in the pores inside a substance in physical adsorption reaction, and agitation is not always function effectively. In that case, however, if reaction is proceeded under a sound field, the vibration of particles is generated in the sound field and the reaction surface is always diluted and renewed, which makes reaction screwing force larger and reaction is accelerated. For example, in a drain decoloration process for the treatment of gas liquid concentration separated from a coke oven gas, reaction is carried out with good efficiency by adding pelletized iron group adsorbents and providing a given sound field.

    • PURPOSE:To heat the heating surface of the titled panel, reduce the cost of a product and facilitate its manufacture by using an expansion graphite sheet for a plate heating body. CONSTITUTION:An expansion graphite sheet 1 is used for a heating body. A sheet 1 has a higher electric resistance and a larger heating quantity when current is applied perpendicularly to the surface than in parallel to it. The heating body 1 is heat insulated by a laminated plate building material 2, and a rigid material 3 is formed surrounding the periphery of a section of the laminated body. Inside the rigid material 3 is provided an insulation layer 4 attached to the laminated body by means of heat resistant binding agent 5. Current is applied to the heating body from an external power source through electrodes 6 for heating. The heating body is formed of the sheet 1, a sufficient heating quantity is obtained because of its direction, and because it is of a form of a plate, uniform heating is enabled. Used material is graphite only, thereby manufacture is easy, and a product can be obtained at a low cost.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an expanded graphite sheet where a foreign matter hardly exists on the surface of the sheet and it possesses a smooth surface, by contriving smoothness of the surface by performing grinding of the sheet during a period extending from after preliminary rolling up to finish rolling. CONSTITUTION:Graphite raw materials fed to a heating and expanding furnace 2 through a hopper 1 is cut down by a fixed quantity after its expansion treatment and fed onto a belt conveyor. The top of the expanded graphite 3 is flattened by a leveling plate 4 and the same is compressed and rolled lightly by a preliminary rolling belt 5. In succession to the above, main rolling of a sheet 3' is performed with main rolling rolls 6, 7, 8, finish rolling is performed finally with a finish rolling roll 9 and then wound up round a wind-up roll 10 as a product sheet. Therefore, grinding cf the surface of the sheet 3' is performed during a period extending from after preliminary rolling up to the finish rolling and brush rolls 11, 11', a grinding roll 12 and a buffing roll 13 are used as a grinding device. Consequently, the surface of the sheet is smoothed, gloss is increased and an expanded graphite sheet whose oil resistance and water resistance have been improved can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain high-grade iron oxide in high purification efficiency, by feeding to the table dressing process a raw material to be dressed which has been prepared by treating a starting material such as hematite ore so that the impurity content has been reduced below a specified level, and by rocking the table to afford the iron oxide particle fraction with falling power. CONSTITUTION:A starting material 1 such as hematite ore and/or magnetite ore is freed from foreign substances through a screen 2 and fed to a concentration regulation tank 3 to perform concentration regulation followed by feeding to a polishing apparatus 4 to perform polishing to an average particle size of 35-15mu, followed by, via a second concentration regulation tanks 5, classification in a cyclone 6. Thence, a fraction of larger size 6A is introduced into an agitation tank 8A while the other fraction of smaller size into a setting separation tank 7 and a subfraction of smaller size 7B is fed to an effluent thickener 22 and the other subfraction of larger size 7A to a second agitation tank 8B. The resulting raw material to be dressed with the impurity content of

    • PURPOSE:To simplify a production process and to obtain iron oxide and particularly iron oxide for ferrite having high purity by classifying and separating iron ore then subjected an ore liquid to an acid leaching treatment in a prescribed acidic region and subjecting the liquid to screening and refining by using gravity screening and/or floatation. CONSTITUTION:After foreign matter is removed 2 from a raw material 1 consisting of iron ore, the ore is subjected to concn. adjustment 3 and is conducted in an optimum concn. state to a cyclone 4. A separated large-diameter component 4A is conducted to an agitation tank 7A. On the other hand, a small-diameter component is settled and separated 5 and the large-diameter component 5A is conducted to an agitation tank 7B. A reagent 6 consisting of a strong acid and floatation agent is added to the coarse-grained raw materials 22A, 22B in the tanks 7A, 7B subjected to screening to 10-250mu grain size and after the raw materials are agitated, the raw materials are separated to concentrates 10A, 11A and tailings 10B, 11B. The concentrates 10A, 11A are then washed 12 to remove the acid-component and the resultant concentrate 13A is ground and classified to 0.8-2mu grain size distribution by a grinder 16 and a classifier 18. The (-) ore obtd. from the cyclone 19 is subjected to a dehydration treatment via a concentration tank 20 and is made into product 23 after drying 22.
