    • PURPOSE:To enables stepless adjustment of the holding strength of a chuck by screwing a screw nut round the periphery of a hollow/cylindrical traction shaft and arranging an output shaft and the traction shaft so that the shaft lines may differ with each other and laying a driving force transmission mechanism between and further providing a means for measuring the displacement in the shaft direction. CONSTITUTION:The revolution number of an induction motor 11 is detected by an optical rotation detector 12. Besides, a spiral gear 17 is engaged with a large gear 15 which is decelerated. And a screw nut 25 supports the shaft of the spiral gear 17 and engages with claw clutch hubs 20, 21. Further, the spiral gear 17 is provided with ratchets 17a, 17a,... and claws 20a, 21a and the casing 35 is mounted with a photoelectric proximity sensor 40 for measuring the displacement of the screw nut 25. By the above constitution, it is made possible to adjust the output torque of the induction motor 11 steplessly while detecting the holding strength by the output signal from the displacement detection means.

    • PURPOSE:To take off a work and remove chips when the chips bite into a chuck claw by forming a gear on the outer circumference of a part mounted to a rotor shaft and rotating a gear engaged with said gear externally by the hand to move the chuck claw. CONSTITUTION:When the release of a work held by a chuck claw is desired in the case of service interruption and because of the occurrence of troubles such as aggravation by chips biting into the chuck claw and colliding with the stroke termination, an electric current is applied to an electromagnetic brake 30 to suck an armature plate 24 sucked by a permanent magnet 34, thereby releasing the constraint of an electric motor rotor 32. A bevel gear shaft 41a is pushed against the spring pressure of a spring 45 to engage a bevel gear 41 with the gear part 36 of a brake disc 36, and the bevel gear is rotated by the hand, whereby the rotor 32 is rotated to move a ball screw shaft 10 in the shaft direction, and the chuck claw is also moved in the circumferential direction to drop the biting chips. Thereafter, by rotating the bevel gear 41 in reverse, the ball spring shaft 10 is moved in reverse and returned.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration generator, which can miniaturize an unbalanced weight and can easily regulate an excitation force and a frequency by providing the unbalanced weight midway between the rotor and bearing of a three-phase AC motor and also by providing a frequency regulation means for power supply. CONSTITUTION:Unbalanced weights to be provided on the right and left of a rotating shaft 2 are formed into e.g. an oval shape and a hole 13a for mounting the unbalanced weight to the rotor shaft 2 is formed in an eccentric position. Because the unbalanced weights 13, 14 are mounted to a rotor 1 and to the rotor shaft 2 between left and right bearings 5, 6, a weight chamber separated from a motor body is made unnecessary. Reference designators 15 and 16 are a three-phase AC power supply and an inverter respectively and the inverter is composed of a power rectifier 16a, a power inverter 16b and a reactor 16c so that an excitation force can be easily regulated to a desired one by electrical control and this regulation can be conducted also during the drive of the motor.

    • PURPOSE:To surely hold workpieces including a long material by sucking an armature plate to a braking device to release locking of a ball screw at the time of opening and closing a claw and sucking same to a permanent magnet to lock the ball screw at the time of rotating a spindle. CONSTITUTION:An electric current is applied to an electromagnetic braking device 31 to suck an armature plate 24 so that a ball screw shaft 10 is stopped through a spline portion 22. An electric current is applied to an induction motor stator to rotate a rotor 32 and a ball screw nut 8 so that the ball screw shaft is guide by slots of the spline portion 22 and a projecting portion 14 of a mounting flange 2 to be moved in the direction of an axis X-X. A draw tube 16 is moved in the same direction to conduct fasten and unfasten operations for a chuck claw, and the operations are decided depending on the rotating direction of the ball screw nut 8. When a workpiece is held, the ball screw shaft 10 is stopped moving, and an electric current applied to the electromagnetic braking device 31 is cut off to suck the armature plate 24 to a permanent magnet 34, so that the ball screw shaft 10 and the ball screw nut 8 are united in a body through a disc 36 and the rotor 32 to keep fastening force.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the transmission of vibration in the revolution of a spindle shaft to a driving mechanism by forming a hollow cylindrical tractive shaft of a motor-driven chuck device dividingly to a chuck side and a drive side and relatively revolving the chuck side tractive shaft and the drive side tractive shaft. CONSTITUTION:A tractive shaft is dividingly formed from a drawing bolt 9 and a drawing tube 12,and during the time when a workpiece is worked, a spindle shaft 11 and the tube 12 are revolved integrally. The bolt 9 is not revolved, and a force in the axial direction is applied onto the tube 12 through the bolt 9 by a driving power transmitting mechanism D. The driving mechanism for a screw nut 6 and a belleville spring 2 is not revolved in ordinary case during working, and the balance related to vibration, etc. can be obtained with high precision. Therefore, even during the working for the workpiece, a chuck holding power can be adjusted, and the servocharacteristic of the shaft 11 in automatic control can be improved by reducing the inertia moment of the shaft 11.
