CONSTITUTION:A magnetically shielded control line cable 2, a power line cable 3, a rubber shielded cable 4 for welding power, and a working fluid transporting line hose 5 are twisted around tension rope 6 and coated with resin to form a compound cable L for automatic welders. Because the control line cable 2 is magnetically shielded, the cable is not subjected to dielectric disturbance caused by the power line and welding power cables 3, 4. The cable L is also invulnerable to tensile forces. As a result, handling of the cable is facilitated and incorrect operation due to noises can also be prevented.

Moreover, a connecting fitting 26 is set up in front and in the rear of the carriage body 11, and a working carriage or the like is connected to this connecting fitting by a reel 2 via a universal joint 27. At this time, when the carriage body 11 passes through a bent pipe part, the reel 2 is made contact with a stopper disk 28, thereby preventing its overbending from occurring.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform welding with high quality by changing welding conditions according to the amount of dislocation detected in the peripheral direction in a butt part of two pipes to perform welding. CONSTITUTION:A rotary motor is driven and an inner pipe is rotated clockwise and a mobile motor in the pipe-axial direction is driven so that a picture of a weld line is always coincident with a fixed point on a TV screen and a welding head 4 is moved in the pipe-axial direction. This amount of movement is detected by a potentiometer and the positional data in the pipe-axial direction of the weld line is obtained. In addition, during this rotation, a mobile motor in the radial direction is controlled automatically and driven so that a detected value of a potentiometer 62 of the rear side in a sensor 60 is maintained constant and the welding head 4 is also moved in the radial direction. This amount of movement is detected by the potentiometer and the positional data in the radial direction of the weld line is obtained. The data on the amount of dislocation is obtained from the difference between the detected values of both potentiometers 61 and 62 during rotation.

Since a weight 208c and a balance weight 208d are provided in end parts of the revolving shaft 208b, the revolving shaft 208b of the potentiometer 208a is turned around the rolling shaft 208f and is kept horizontal whichever rolling attitude the working machine takes in the pipe.

Subsequently, the welding head 4 is moved in the diametral direction of the opposite side so as to allow a torch to face the line to be welded, and while rotating the torch in the peripheral direction, welding of the whole periphery is executed by generating an arc.

CONSTITUTION:A CPU 130 drives a rotary motor 21 and rotates a profiling sensor clockwise and reads detected values of potentiometers 61 and 62. A mobile motor 25 in the radial direction is then driven so that the detected value of the potentiometer 62 is coincident with a prescribed value. During this period, since the profiling sensor is moved in the axial direction along a weld line so that the weld line is coincident with a fixed point on a screen of a monitor TV, an operator discriminates ON and OFF of respective switches S2 and S3 and drives to rotate a mobile motor 26 in the pipe-axial direction, in the direction required, according to the result. When an accumulated angle increases by a prescribed angle, the difference between the detected values of the potentiometers is stored as the data on the quantity of dislocation. The mobile motor 26 in the pipe-axial direction is driven so that the weld line is situated between the potentiometers 61 and 62.
