    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber foam body using ethylene-propylene rubber having a reduced heat compression permanent strain and excellent sealing performance while utilizing advantages such as easiness of vulcanizing and foaming operation by sulfur vulcanization and excellent properties of the foam body.SOLUTION: The foam body is obtained by vulcanizing and foaming treatment of a mixture comprising at least: 100 pts. of the ethylene-propylene rubber; 5-20 pts. of a foaming agent; 5-25 pts. of carbon black; 90-200 pts. of a white filler; and sulfur. The rubber foam body has the thermal compression permanent strain of 90% or less when it is kept under compression rate of 50% at 70°C for 22 hours.
