    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately predicting the prognosis of mammalian neuroblastoma. SOLUTION: This method for accurately predicting the prognosis of the mammalian neuroblastoma comprises measuring the methylation frequency of the cytosine of CpG island contained in one or more genes selected from the group consisting of a gene encoding a protein belonging to protocadherin β-family, a gene encoding a protein belonging to protocadherin α-family, a protein encoding a hepatocyte growth factor-like protein, DKFZp 451I127 gene, and cytochrome p450 CYP26C1 gene, and then judging the prognosis of the mammalian neuroblastoma on the basis of the methylation frequency.
