SOLUTION: In a wedge-streamlined pile footing 21, when the ground is displaced by an earthquake, since the wedged part 16a of a wedge-streamlined pile 15a of a first row K is opposed in the flowing direction of a lateral flow, even if a granular-lumpy solid material is contained in the lateral flow, the lateral flow is separated left and right by the wedged part 16a without receiving resistance. The lateral flow separated left and right by the wedged part 16a flows by the streamlined part 16b continuing with this without generating an alternating current swirl U. Therefore, a wedge-streamlined pile 15a of a second row L is not influenced by the alternating current swirl U of the wedge- streamlined pile 15a of a first row K to the lateral flow. The lateral flow is separated left and right by the wedged part 16a similarly in the the second row L and a third row M.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion prevention type chimney in which the formation of a heat bridge section onto the interior wall of an internal cylinder is prevented by simple structure and corrosion due to dew condensation can be prevented. SOLUTION: The chimney 15 is composed of an internal cylinder 1, in which a heat-insulating material 8 is wound on an external surface and an internal surface is used as a flue, and a supporting material 16 supporting the internal cylinder 1 on the external surface side of the internal cylinder 1. The internal cylinder 1 is made of a steel plate, the whole external surface la of the internal cylinder 1 is covered with the heat-insulating material 8, and a heat-insulating protective cover 20 is installed onto the surface of the heat-insulating material 8. On the other hand, the supporting material 16 comprises a supporting material body 17 and a ring-shaped member 18, and these body and member are connected by a connector 19, and constituted integrally. Since the ring-shaped member 18 is not fixed onto the external surface of the heat-insulating material 8 and the internal cylinder 1 is supported through the heat-insulating material 8, the whole external surface of the internal cylinder 1 is covered uniformly with the heat-insulating material 8 and an exposed section can be removed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fluctuation of a floating structure with keeping waves away from contacting a bottom surface of a pontoon by connecting the bottom surface of the pontoon with a cylindrical body to form a compressed air layer between the bottom surface of the cylindrical body and the pontoon, and the surface of the sea. SOLUTION: A marine floating structure 1 is provided below an upper structure 3 located above the surface of the sea 2. A cylindrical body 5 to be connected to the four circumferential sides of a bottom surface 4a is provided on the bottom surface 4a of a pontoon 4 so as to float the upper structure 3 on the sea. Since an opening 5a is formed at the lower end portion of the cylindrical body 5, sea water enters inside the cylindrical body 5 from the opening 5a when the marine floating structure 1 is floated on the surface of the sea 2, resulting in the cylindrical body 5 filled up with the sea water. Therefore, in this marine floating structure 1, air is supplied between the bottom surface 4a of the pontoon 4 and the surface of the sea in the cylindrical body 5 so as to form a compressed air layer 6 in the cylindrical body 5. Accordingly, the pontoon 4, and consequently the marine floating structure 1 itself can always maintain constant postures so as to prevent fluctuation.
