    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elasticity connection method and a connecting member that saves on space and exhibits high vibration damping ability. SOLUTION: In a method of connecting a first member and a second member resiliently, a cylindrical member having rubber-like elasticity is fitted to a cylindrical portion of a joint member fixed to the first member and having the cylindrical portion projecting from the first member. The cylindrical member portion is inserted into a female screw hole which is formed on the second member to be vibration-isolated and jointed to the first member, and whose inside diameter is greater than the outside diameter of the cylindrical member. A coil is screwed in between the outer circumference of the cylindrical member and the female screw. By doing this, the second member is connected to the first member resiliently through the coil in contact with the outer circumference of the cylindrical member and the cylindrical member. Also, by cutting off the thread of the screw from the axial groove, it is attained to reduce the rigidity of the thread, to deform the thread easily by vibration force in the direction of the bolt shaft, and to damp the vibration force applied to the bolt by frictional resistance due to slipping on the thread joint surface generated by the deformation.

    • PURPOSE:To improve rigidity laying out a group of heat exchanger pipes so that they may adjoin and supporting said heat exchanger pipes with a baffle plate provided at a span. CONSTITUTION:A primary fluid enters each heat exchanger pipe 2a' and 2b' of a group of U-shaped pipes 2a and 2b, passing through a water chamber from inlet nozzles 5a and 5b. Then, the fluid enters a vessel 1 from a secondary inlet 9a, and it is guided by baffle plates 7 and 7' and exchanges heat with the secondary fluid flowing around the heat exchanger pipes 2a' and 2b' in the direction marked with an arrow. The primary fluid which has heat- exchanged is discharged from outlet nozzles 6a and 6b by way of the water chamber while the secondary fluid is discharged from a secondary outlet 9b. Each heat exchanger pipe of the group of the U-shaped pipes 2a and 2b are firmly supported with pipe plates 3a and 3b at both ends of the straight runs of the pipes. On the other hand, the bends of each heat exchanger pipe 2a' and 2b' are supported at the straight runs of the adjacent heat exchanger pipes 2a' and 2b' by way of a baffle rod 8 which forms the baffle plate 7'. Therefore, the bends can be rigidly supported at the straight runs of the adjacent heat exchanger pipes.
