摘要： A team sport entertainment simulation game-play innovation that enables the user to optionally choose the offensive or defensive player to control prior to the start of the play regardless of ball possession and to control that player until the play terminates, or for a portion of the play until the user cancels the player specific mode. The user is expected to perform the characteristic behavior of the controlled player's position (e.g. quarterback, running back, wide receiver, defensive back, etc. in the example of the team sport of football). Missions, which describe the characteristic behavior of the position, provide goals and incentives to play the position properly or in another manner. Upon completion of the tasks outlined in the missions the user is rewarded with player attribute upgrades that increase the player's odds of winning the game.

摘要： A wireless data platform comprises a plurality of processors. Channels of communication are set up between processors such that they may communicate information as tasks are performed. A dynamic cross compiler executed on one processor compiles code into native processing code for another processor. A dynamic cross linker links the compiled code for other processor. Native code may also be downloaded to the platform through use of a JAVA Bean (or other language type) which encapsulates the native code. The JAVA Bean can be encrypted and digitally signed for security purposes.

摘要： A battery operated controller for a door operator includes a keypad backlit by a light emitting diode operably connected to a microcontroller which also controls operation of the controller. The microcontroller periodically measures ambient light as sensed by the light emitting diode and when a voltage level related to a predetermined light intensity decreases below a predetermined level the light emitting diode is energized to provide backlighting for the controller keypad. The intensity of backlighting may be varied in accordance with the amount of ambient light illuminating the keypad and above a certain intensity of ambient light the light emitting diode is de-energized to conserve battery power.

摘要： An operator for a barrier, such as an upward acting door, includes a control unit having two optical limit switches providing output signals to a controller to effect shut-off of the operator motor when the door reaches open and closed limit positions. The limit switches preferably include LED emitter and phototransistor sensor elements and are preferably mounted on a circuit board in close proximity to a screw member which rotates in timed relation to the position of the door. Linearly movable nut members are mounted on the screw member and include or engage optical shield members which move into positions to provide respective output signals from the optical switches. The door closed optical limit switch may incorporate a pre-limit switch function to override a signal from a door bottom edge obstruction sensor.

By changing the mounting of the zipper guide (28) and by actuating the clamp (14) during slider insertion, the zipper (32) indexes to the slider insertion apparatus (10) in alternate directions.
