    • A system for installing wire and the like in a conduit which includes a plurality of wire pulling grips and a pulling jacket is provided. The wire pulling jacket encloses the wire pulling grips and keeps them bundled together, making it easier for an operator to use the same. The wire pulling jacket protects the pulling grips by preventing the grips from catching on the conduit, and also keeps the pulling grips clean. The pulling jacket also increases operator safety by reducing the risk that the operator gets a finger, glove, or other part of the body caught in the wire puling grips as these are pulled into the conduit.

    • The preferred embodiment of present invention is directed to an improved method and system for buffering incoming/unsolicited data received by a host computer that is connected to a network such as a storage area network. Specifically, in a host computer system in which the main memory of the host server maintains a I/O control block command ring, and which a connective port (e.g., a host bus adaptor) is operatively coupled to the main memory for handling I/O commands received by and transmitted from the host server, a host buffer queue (HBQ) is maintained for storing a series of buffer descriptors retrievable by the port for writing incoming/unsolicited data to specific address locations within the main memory. In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, multiple HBQs are maintained for storing buffer entries dedicated to different types and/or lengths of data, where each of the HBQ can be separately configured to contain a selection profile describing the specific type of data for which the HBQ is dedicated to service.

    • One embodiment induces a display system for use on the exterior of a vehicle having a display, a vehicle speed sensor, a trigger device, and a processor coupled to the speed sensor and the trigger device. The trigger device is configured to identify a trigger event. The processor is configured to implement one of three operational modes of the display system based on the speed and state of the vehicle: a first operational mode when no trigger event is identified, the vehicle is on, and the vehicle is at a first speed; a second operational mode when no trigger event is identified and the vehicle is at a second speed different than the first speed; and a third operational mode when the trigger event is identified. The processor is further configured to render content on the display based upon the operational mode.
