摘要： A gaseous fuel rotary piston engine has a rotor housing and a rotor. A side housing of the rotor housing is provided with an air intake port for supplying air to working chambers defined in the rotor housing and a gaseous fuel port which is connected to a gaseous fuel source through a fuel supply passage and through which gaseous fuel is supplied to the working chambers. The air intake port is formed to open near the top dead center on the intake stroke and close after the bottom dead center on the intake stroke. The gaseous fuel port is formed to open near the opening time of the air intake port and close substantially at the middle of the compression stroke.

摘要： An air-fuel ratio control system for a gaseous fuel engine which runs on gaseous fuel containing at least partly hydrogen gas has a fuel supply control valve which adjusts the amount of the gaseous fuel supplied to the engine and a control unit which controls the fuel supply control valve to control the air-fuel ratio according to the engine load. The control unit controls the fuel supply control valve so that the air-fuel ratio becomes higher than a NOx-maximizing air-fuel ratio, at which the amount of NOx emitted from the engine is maximized, in a predetermined operating range of the engine, and in the predetermined operating range of the engine, the control unit controls the fuel supply control valve so that the air-fuel ratio becomes higher in a high engine speed range than in a low engine speed range.

摘要： Air is drawn through an intake channel (11) with a throttle (12) operated by a stepping motor (13). Gaseous fuel is delivered from a metal hydride tank (20) via high- and low-pressure regulators (24,27) and flow control valves (25,28) to separate ports (8,9). High-pressure gas enters one of the three working chambers (6) during the compression stroke at e.g. 5 atoms. Low-pressure gas enters during the induction stroke in a smaller quantity which is more closely regulated by an electronic control unit (30) responsive to engine speed (31), accelerator pedal position (32) and the pressures (33,34) in the respective feeds. USE/ADVANTAGE - In H2-burning rotary-piston engine, stability of combustion is improved with precision of control of fuel delivery to low-pressure induction zone.

摘要： The hydrogen supply has a first hydrogen reservoir (76), containing a hydrogen storage alloy, which frees hydrogen at a raised temperature. Engine heat causes this hydrogen to be freed. A second reservoir (90) contains a similar alloy, which frees hydrogen at a lower temperature, without help from the engine heat. A sensor (71D) determines that the engine temperature is lower than a preset level. A switch (50, 82, 97) causes the second reservoir to be connected to a hydrogen feed aperture (HP) of the engine. ADVANTAGE - Sufficient hydrogen is supplied for good start under cold conditions.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform accurate measurement and display of remaining gas fuel quantity by a method wherein a flow meter is not mounted on a vehicle but a minimum number flow meter is mounted on a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A mode switch 42 operated through intercoupling of connector parts 41 and 51 is arranged at a vehicle 40 and a fuel remaining amount display part 48 is arranged. Meanwhile, a turbine type gas flow meter 58 is mounted on a fuel feeding device 50. A fuel feed amount is measured by the gas flow meter 58 and measurements are transmitted to an engine control unit 28. During the non-feed of fuel, a consumption amount is detected based on an integrated value of a control amount of a fuel control valve and by subtracting a consumption amount from a fuel feed amount, a remaining amount is calculated and a result is displayed on a remaining amount display part 48. A flow meter is arranged on the vehicle side and during the feed of fuel, hydrogen is fed to a hydrogen storage part through a flow meter. Switching may be made so that hydrogen is fed from the hydrogen storage part to the engine through the same flow meter.
