摘要： A load control system (900) for controlling the amount of power delivered from an AC power source to a plurality of electrical loads (lighting load 212, plug-in load 224, damper 242 of an HVAC system, discharge lamps 314, electronic drive unit 326) includes a plurality of energy controllers (dimmer switch 210, plug-in load control 220, temperature control devices 230, 330, contact-closure output pack 240, digital ballast controller 310, motorized window treatment 320). Each energy controller is operable to control at least one of the electrical loads. The load control system also includes a first broadcast controller (980) that has a first antenna (990) and a second antenna (991). The first antenna is arranged in a first position and the second antenna is arranged in a second position that is orthogonal to the first position. The broadcast controller is operable to transmit a first wireless signal via the first antenna and a second wireless signal via the second antenna. Each of the energy controllers is operable to receive at least one of the first and second wireless signals, and to control the respective load in response to the received wireless signal. The load control system includes a plurality of independently-controlled units (or sub-systems 910, 912) having commanders (remote controllers 250, 350, occupancy sensors 260, 360, temperature sensor 270, daylight sensor 370) for controlling the energy controllers, where the independent units are configured and operate independent of each other. The broadcast controller is also operable to receive digital messages from the commanders and energy controllers and thus- to collect data from the commanders and energy controllers of the independent units. The load control system enables system-wide functionality, such as demand response and whole-building time clock functions.

摘要： A load control system for a building having a heating and cooling system and a window located in a space of the building uses a daylighting procedure to adjust the amount of power delivered to the lighting load in response to the amount of daylight entering the window, and controls amount of daylight entering the window in order to attempt to reduce the power consumption of the heating and cooling system if the daylighting procedure is not causing the heating and cooling system to save energy. If the lighting load is consuming more energy when the fabric of the motorized window treatment is at a position above the fully-closed position than the lighting load would consume if the fabric was at the fully-closed position, the motorized window treatment moves the fabric to the fully-closed position.

The visual display may comprise a single visual indicator or a linear array of visual indicators. 摘要： A compact antenna for use in a load control device for controlling the power delivered to an electric load and operable to transmit or receive radio frequency signals at a specified frequency is presented. The antenna comprises a first main radiating loop of conductive material having an inductance and a capacitor forming a circuit being resonant at the specified frequency, and a second feed loop of conductive material having two ends adapted to be electrically coupled to an electronic circuit. The second feed loop is substantially only magnetically coupled to the first main radiating loop. The antenna is disposed in an actuator button, which is provided in an opening of a traditional-style faceplate. The antenna extends beyond the faceplate of the load control device.

摘要： A load control system for a building having a lighting load, a window, and a heating and cooling system comprises a lighting control device for controlling the amount of power delivered to the lighting load, a daylight control device, such as a motorized window treatment, for adjusting the amount of natural light to be admitted through a window, and a temperature control device for controlling a setpoint temperature of the heating and cooling system to thus control a present temperature in the building. The load control system may also comprise a controllable electrical receptacle for turning on and off a plug-in electrical load connected thereto. The lighting control device, the daylight control device, the temperature control device, and the controllable receptacle are controlled so as to decrease a total power consumption of the load control system in response to a received demand response command.

摘要： A touch dimmer has a three-wire touch sensitive screen that produces an output voltage signal representative of a position of a manual pressure touch along a longitudinal axis of the touch screen. To reduce the occurrence of erroneous position indications due to low-pressure touches of the touch screen, a filter circuit is coupled to the output of the touch screen to prevent the detection of transient touches, and to prevent the detection of low-pressure touches having less than a certain actuation force. As a result, a controller may accurately determine the position of the manual pressure touch. In a preferred embodiment, two filters are coupled to the output of the touch screen. The first filter conditions the output voltage signal to allow the controller to accurately determine whether a manual pressure touch actuation has occurred. The second filter conditions the output voltage signal to allow the controller to accurately determine the position of the manual pressure touch along a longitudinal axis of the touch screen. An alternative embodiment of the touch dimmer uses a four-wire touch sensitive screen that produces a second output voltage signal representative of a position of a manual pressure touch along a transverse axis of the touch screen. The first filter is coupled to receive the second output signal to permit accurate detection of a manual pressure touch actuation.
