摘要： A replaceable cue tip assembly (24, 98) is provided to enable the easy and quick replacement of tip pads of cue sticks. The cue tip assembly (24, 98) includes a tip ferrule (20, 100) that is attachable to a cue stick shaft (8) or to conventional shaft ferrule (12). It also includes a tip pad holder (22, 106) to which a tip pad (56, 114) is to be fixed. The tip pad holder (22, 106) has a non-threaded conical surface (48, 108) that seats upon a mating non-threaded conical surface (36, 128) of the tip ferrule (20, 100). Various means of connecting the tip pad holder (22, 106) and the tip ferrule (20, 100) together are disclosed. Cue sticks (16) having the replaceable cue tip assemblies (24, 98) are also disclosed as are tip pad holder tools (80) for use in attaching and removing the tip pad holders (22, 106).
