    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a theft prevention apparatus of a leisure vehicle in which the battery on the vehicle side is not exhausted uselessly. SOLUTION: The theft prevention apparatus includes a portable transmitter 2 configured to transmit user identification data by radio, a receiver 11 mounted in the vehicle and configured to receive the user identification data which is transmitted by radio from the transmitter. When the received user identification data is an authorized user identification data, a controller 12 mounted in the vehicle allows the use of the vehicle. During travel of the vehicle, also, the transmitter 2 transmits the user identification data by radio with an appropriately interval, the receiver 11 receives the user identification data, and the controller 12 determines whether or not the receiver 11 has received the user identification data transmitted from the transmitter 2 within a predetermined time. When the controller 12 determines that the receiver does not receive it within the predetermined time, it issues an alarm operation command to an alarm means 13 device mounted in the vehicle to inform a driver of loss of the transmitter 2.
