    • PURPOSE:To accurately and rapidly detect the defect of a thyristor by sampling and storing a forward voltage detection signal outputted from a photoreceptor and checking the presence or absence of the signal when the firing signal of a thyristor is generated. CONSTITUTION:A light signal outputted from a light emitting element inserted between the anode and the cathode of a series thyristor is detected by a photoreceptor 5. The output of the photoreceptor 5 is inputted through an amplifier 21 to a memory circuit 22, sampled and stored. A detector 23 detects the defect due to the presence or absence of the forward voltage detection signal of the memory 22 when the firing signal of the thyristor is generated.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of a voltage suppression element by connecting the voltage suppression element and a detector which detects the forward voltage in parallel with an optical firing thyristor, thereby protecting the firing thyristor against an overvoltage or monitoring the number of elements, to which the forward voltage is applied.
      CONSTITUTION: Voltage suppression elements 54∼57 are connected in parallel with optical firing thyristors 50∼53, and light emitting elements 66∼69 which generate time signals, to which the forward voltage is applied, are further connected. The output of an operational amplifier 86 for adding the voltage signals becomes a value proportional to the number of the firing thyristors, to which the voltage is forwardly applied. When the forward voltage is applied to the optically firing thyristors less than 50, the output of an AND circuit becomes "1", a signal is applied to a firing signal generator 22, a transistor 25 is operated, light emitting elements 27∼30 emits lights, and firing signals are fed to the thyristors 50∼53. Accordingly, all thyristors 50∼53 are fired, thereby eliminating the voltages at the elements 54∼57.

    • PURPOSE:To normally operate an opening and closing circuit without relation to a defect of any part even if any part becomes defective by combining 3 drive circuits and 6 opening and closing elements. CONSTITUTION:An instruction signal for driving a fire is applied to an input 1, and inputted to 3 logic circuits 2 which have circuits for deciding firing pulse width and firing phase, and a transistor base drive circuit. The three outputs 3 of the circuits 2 are used as drive signals of transistors 11, 15; 12, 16 and 13, 14 of main opening and closing circuit 27 which is composed by connecting all the transistors 11, 14; 12, 15 and 13, 16 respectively connected in series all in parallel with each other. The condition for generating a firing pulse of a thyristor 8 in the circuit 17 is that the transistors 11, 14; 12, 15 or 13, 16 which are respectively connected in series are simultaneously turned ON.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the handling of a thyristor device by dispersively disposing anode reactors in a necessary inductance unit, thereby increasing the degree of freedom of designing the device. CONSTITUTION:A reactor 2-3, thyristors 1-1, 1-2, a reactor 2-4, thyristors 1-3, 1-4, a reactor 2-5 and thyristors 1-5, 1-6 are connected in series with each other. In this case, the reactors 2-4, 2-5 are disposed so that the floating capacity of the thyristors 1-1-1-6 becomes the prescribed value or lower, and the inductance is selected so that the discharging current due to the floating capacity becomes the rising rate or lower of the current allowable to them. Further, the reactor 2-3 has an inductance of the difference between the inductance value necessary as a while to equilibrate the transient voltage load and the inductance value of the sum of the reactors 2-4 and 2-5.
