    • A quick connector assembly for temporarily connecting large diameter vacuum hose to heating, ventilating and air conditioning ductwork for the purpose of, but not limited to, establishing a vacuum within ductwork to aid in cleaning unwanted debris and materials from the ductwork. The quick connector assembly requires that a hole be cut into the ductwork. A large diameter vacuum hose is secured to a hose attachment tube on the present quick connector assembly. The quick connector assembly includes a flat circular flange which engages the duct wall when the quick connector assembly is held up to the hole. At least two pivoting support ears are pivoted outward until they extend beyond the edges of the cut hole. As they are pivoted outward, the pivoting support ears engage the inner side of the duct wall so that a clamping effect is created between the pivoting support ears and the flat circular flange, thus securing the quick connector assembly to the ductwork.

    • A locking coupler for a drive shaft and a method therefor. The coupler includes a male and a female member, each including a male and a female coupler end and an opposite male and female shaft end. The coupler ends have a non-circular portion adapted to releasably receive the male coupler end within the female coupler end such that the ends have limited axial rotation relative to one another. The coupler also includes a detent cooperatively engageable with the male and female members to lock the male and female ends together. The detent is a button operable between an extended position and a depressed position, and a cooperative recess that receives the button when the button is in the extended position. The female coupler end includes a bore sidewall with a recessed portion, and the recessed portion and the button cooperate to provide a quick-connect relationship.

    • The fluid-powered scouring whip is a length of flexible tubing composed of rubber or plastic. One or more scouring members, such as bristles or tines, extend outward from the tubing. These scouring members are molded or tooled as integral parts of the tubing, and may be configured in a variety of angles, densities, patterns or lengths. The fluid-powered scouring whip would be attached to a source of rapidly moving fluid. The whip would be introduced into a remote area in need of cleaning, such as an air duct. When fluid was introduced through the fluid-powered scouring whip, the whip would move about rapidly and randomly, scouring the surfaces of the area into which it had been introduced.

At least one round headed reverse air nozzle 11 and at least one round headed forward air nozzle 12 may be included, the purpose of the nozzle heads and flexible tubing whip being to direct air in different directions as helpful for the purpose of removing dust, debris and unwanted foreign matter from the interior of ductwork.
