    • A two-piece can that is satisfactory in can body strength, excelling in corrosion resistance; and a method of shaping for easily producing of such a two-piece can without cracking. There is provided a method of shaping, comprising forming a dome portion in a bottom part of can barrel drawing wrought into a bottomed cylindrical configuration; performing trimming work of an opening portion of the can barrel; performing a diameter reducing work such that the opening portion has a diameter smaller than that of the can barrel and satisfying the following formule (1) and (2); and forming a bead part at edge portion of the opening of the can barrel to thereby obtain a two-piece can. The processing of this method includes a heat treatment step in which an employed laminated steel sheet is heated to a temperature not lower than the glass transition temperature of the film of the laminated steel sheet but not higher than the melting point thereof plus 30ºC and thereafter is rapidly cooled to a temperature not higher than the glass transition temperature within a period of 30 sec. The formulae are 1.5=h/(R-r) (1) and d/R=0.25 (2), wherein h: height from can bottom to apex edge of opening, R: circular blank position radius, r: radius of bottom part, and d: radius of apex edge of opening.
