    • PURPOSE:To measure the existence of radioactive contamination and its degree by providing a counting rate meter of two systems different in time constant and detecting the existence of contamination by a first system of small time constant and the degree of the contamination by a second system of large time constant. CONSTITUTION:A counting rate meter 1 of a first system is connected to another counting rate meter 2 of a second system contrasted therewith and an emission element 3 for indicating the existence of contamination is set in the counting rate meter 1 of the first system. Time constant of the counting rate meter 1 of the first system is small and the other time constant of the counting rate meter 2 of the second system is large. In a survey meter formed of the above-mentioned arrangement, rapid motion is indicated by the first system at a low counting rate while the pointer of the second system indicates an average value due to the slow response.

    • PURPOSE:To enable radioactive contamination test in a short time by setting a scaler for detecting radiation dose, a time measuring timer and a judging circuit and judging the degree of contamination by total radiation dose in a constant time. CONSTITUTION:A scaler 2 connected to a radiation detector 1 for detecting an incident radiation dose N, a time 3 for measuring time T and a judging circuit 4 are set. When measurement is started, the counting N of the scaler 2 is increased together with the passing of time. When the upper limit TC of measuring time is previously determined, the judging circuit 4 for judging the existence of contamination judges whether it exceeds alarm value NC corresponding to the judging level (C count/second) of contamination at the time point which passes the upper limit and in the case where the contamination exceeds the alarm value NC, an alarm is given. Thus, the formation of the detector is simplified while the time necessary for the measurement can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To enable complex form in which an experimental hole is arranged in desired position by filling a granular reflector in desired shape reflector vessel. CONSTITUTION:A reflector 2 encloses a reactor core 1, arranged without leaking no neutrons out of a reactor and formed to fill granular reflectors 4 in a reflector vessel 3. A experimental hole or an inserting hole is arranged in the vessel 3 in desired position. The reflectors 4 have the large diffusion coefficient of neutrons and little absorption, any material will do, so long as it is workable and they are formed by the materials such as graphite and beryllium. The reflectors 4 set the vessel 3 in fixed position and are filled in the vessel 3 after various holes or their inserting holes are arranged. Grain transport devices 5, 5 are connected to ports 3a of the vessel 3, the reflectors 4 are fed into the vessel 3 and taken out from the vessel 3 in the time of their exchange and inspection. And fluid circulating means composed of a drive source such as a blower, a heat taken-out device 7 and a pressure regulator 8 are connected to the ports 3a.
