摘要： An apparatus used in a UE includes processing circuitry and memory. To configure the UE for DMRS processing in a 5G NR network, the processing circuitry is to decode higher layer signaling indicating a DMRS type and a BARS length. DCI is decoded, which includes an antenna port value. One or more DMRS antenna ports are determined based on the DMRS type, the DMRS length, and the antenna port value. The one or more DMRS antenna ports are configured for port multiplexing using a TD-OCC or an FD-OCC. A DMRS of the DMRS type and the DMRS length is decoded. The DMRS is received via a PDSCH using the one or more DMRS antenna ports.

摘要： Embodiments of an Evolved Node-B (eNB), User Equipment (UE) and methods for communication are generally described herein. The eNB may generate a plurality of adaptive codebooks based on a base codebook. Each adaptive codebook may be generated for a different beam-width for directional transmissions by an antenna array. The adaptive codebooks may be generated based at least partly on matrix products of a first matrix based at least partly on a configurable broadening factor and a second matrix that includes codewords of the base codebook. A predetermined plurality of broadening factor values may be used in the first matrix to produce the different beam-widths for the adaptive codebooks.

摘要： A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for enhanced phase-tracking reference signal (PTRS) transmission in a wireless network, and to cause the UE to perform operations. The operations include selecting an antenna, port of a plurality of available antenna ports. A plurality of discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spread orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) symbols are generated using a randomly-generated symbol and an orthogonal cover code (OCC). The OCC is based on the selected antenna port. A pre-DFT insertion of the plurality of DFT-s-OFDM symbols is performed in time domain to generate a group-based time-domain PTRS. Uplink data is encoded for transmission to a base station, the uplink data including the group-based time-domain PTRS.

摘要： Channel state information (CSI) feedback of common CSI components is discussed. An example user equipment (UE) includes a receiver circuit, processor, and transmitter circuit. The receiver circuit is configured to receive CSI configuration information for a plurality of downlink (DL) cells that indicates a first group of two or more of the DL cells and at least one CSI component designated for common reporting for the first group. The processor is configured to calculate a group value for each of the at least one CSI components designated for common reporting for the first group and selectively calculate, for each DL cell of the first group, individual values for any CSI components not designated for common reporting for the first group. The transmitter circuit is configured to transmit the group value for each of the designated CSI components and the individual values for any additional CSI components.

摘要： A User Equipment and an eNodeB system are configured for performing interference mitigation in the UE. Input circuitry in the wireless communication device receives an OFDM downlink channel signal associated with a serving cell and receives downlink control information for an interfering cell. The downlink control information is used by the UE to perform channel estimation for the interfering cell. An interference mitigation module is provided for calculating an interference-mitigated version of the received channel signal using estimated channel transfer functions for both the serving cell and the interfering cell, power control parameters and using set of modulation constellation points corresponding to the OFDM downlink channel.
